Great cup - although the lid seal split within a few weeks, when i contacted Solecup, Paul responded very quickly and was able to send me a whole new lid replacement which i am extremely happy with. Amazing customer service, will purchase Solecup products again! Thank you Paul!

I needed a travel mug for my herbal tea and this is perfect. Yes it gets hot if you hold the glass part but the silicon grip is fine. Perfect when outside during the winter months, keeps the fingers warm too!

It's extremely pretty but for £23 (which is more than I would usually pay for a travel mug) it has some design flaws.Initially when it arrived I was extremely impressed, couldn't wait to open it and it appeared to live up to the price tag. It is appears well made, thick glass and strong plastic, extremely pretty also and I love that it has a infuser as I am a fan of tea leaves.Today I went to use this cup for the first time and the disappointment hit straight away. The cup gets extremely hot and the thin plastic band which is supposed to allow you to carry this cup also gets very hot, it just isn't thick enough. Also this product is not leak proof! For the price you would hope it would be but I can confirm it just isn't. I often don't finish my cuppa on rhe go and place the cup in my bag but I will make sure not to do that with this cup. It isn't air tight and by the solecup logo st the top of the cup it leaks alot.Anyway I chose not to return it as it is very pretty but I certainly won't be purchasing anymore and if I had known wouldn't of invested the price in this product. Overall just not worth the price tag, left disappointed in the product and I hope these design flaws will be resolved in any upcoming products by solecup.

I was looking for a tea infuser to take to work. This is pretty but when I first used it, the flask instantly heated up so that it was too hot to trick any part of the glass. Unsurprisingly it cooled within half an hour. Additionally, the lid was not right enough to withstand the change in air pressure that happens when you put hot liquid in a flask, so it burst open spraying hot liquid around. I have a flask that performs as well but it cost a few pounds from a supermarket. This is is prettier but no better in terms of performance. I was however given a refund minus postage.

I have a smaller cup to this made by Drink Pod which I've had a while. It's great, I prefer tea to coffee, but tea tastes horrible in stainless steel mugs (reacts to the tannins in tea) so the glass one is great.The Drink Pod cup is more than half the size of this and I needed a larger cup.I also wanted a cup that added a strainer for leaf tea.This Sole Cup only arrived today, but I like it.I can get my hand all the way in to clean it, its got a more secure lid to the Drink Pod (which just slips on) however this Sole Cup lid screws on and the top of the cup looks like a glass jar, so I can't drink from it without the lid (so dunking biscuits is a bit of a pain).I haven't tested the tea strainer yet, but it looks great quality and secures to the lid.The Cup has a silicone wrap, which is great because the glass cup is very hot, I would have liked it to be larger because it doesn't cover all my hand and it's a bit too hot to hold.My last little gripe (although I do like the cup a lot) is the colour options. It's a bit of a ridiculous moan, but I got the blue because I couldn't stand the other colours.It comes in a nice box with a card with my name on, so I'm assuming its a small company (which I love) and some sachets of loose tea.My little gripes are just that, gripes. It's a nice mug and really, finding things for tea drinkers over coffee drinkers is getting very rare, so I'm very happy I can take loose tea on my travels.

The top isn't 100% leak proof but enough protection to result in just a drip or 3 coming out (instead of gushing out all over my desk like it used to) if you knock it over (I am very accident prone!).Love that you can see through the glass to check out the colour of the tea.The rubber heat protection / grip 'belt' is a little difficult to get on and off and needs to be washed by hand. But it needs to be tight enough to work - so not a complaint, just an observation.Also the insert metal mesh loose tea reservoir we have been washing by hand. Again, not a complaint, just an observation. Threads/screws on very easily and robustly which is good.The rest of the SoleCup parts go in the dishwasher and makes it much easier to clean than the Cafetiere I had been using to make larger quantities of loose leaf tea.Loved it so much (as did my son!) that we now own 3 between us! And I will probably buy - or be bought! - a 4th for Christmas.

This travel cup is useless, the slightest knock and it opens and leaks. I can't believe I paid almost £24 for something so awful. I'm not bothered that it doesn't keep drinks warm, I like like warm drinks and it is easy to clean. But it's main function for me was to keep my tea in the cup and it can't achieve this.

Very easy to use product, really came in handy when I’m on the move and even at home. Great for tea.Simple to clean and always left without Odor, the high quality glass and recycled plastic finishings makes the SoleCup have excellent durability attributes.All of this with still remaining sustainable, I would highly recommend the SoleCup for anyone.

Pros: You don’t have to drink your tea through the tea leaves! It’s super cute, easy to hold with the grip, and doesn’t keep the tea at boiling point forever. It’s not too tall for my shelf.Cons: Leaks like crazy if it gets tipped over with hot water in it. The mouth spout is weird and the center metal dot gets in the way of comfort. The strainer basket is too deep to clean easily without a brush of some sort. A bit of a plasticky smell the first few times using it (so far).I’m still on the hunt for my perfect tea travel mug.

So far I like using them for my tea. They don’t hold heat or iced as long as Yeti grade mug. But it allows me to have brewed loose tea on the go.
