Best thing I installed on my boat. I did add an inline switch though to kill the LED light that is not only very bright especially at night but would be a constant draw on the batter if its not switched. Seems pretty robust, so Im hoping it lasts long term.

Good product
It is water resistant as long as the cover plug is installed. I really liked mine but it got rained on and I lost the USB port function. May get another and relocate to a different area. Good product just keep out of the direct weather contact.
