Sportsstuff Betty Series | Towable Tube for Boating with 1-4 Rider Options

We bought Big Betty for Grandpa's lake house to entertain all of his teenage grandkids. The kids had outgrown a previous tube. This one has plenty of room for their bigger bodies. They don't bump heads when they bounce, which is good. We added the SPORTSSTUFF Towable Booster Tube (I call it the "football") to help keep the rope out of the water, which also works great. We also got AIRHEAD Tow Harness, self centering pulley, which has a Y shape rope that connects to the pontoons, as we don't have a towing bar. No other connections or rigs were needed. The ride is really smooth, even with just one kid riding. They do not get pulled down into the water (torpedo effect), nor do they flip off, like they did with previous tubes. The "football" really helped with that. We pull it with a Sun Tracker pontoon with a 150 hp engine. The seated position works much better than turning the tube around and pulling it chariot style. We found that the chariot position causes it to go under even with the "football" to help, so we stick with the seated position exclusively. We've used it for 3 lake parties with several hours of teenagers tubing at each party. It's held up very well. Only lost a little air, but the outside temperature went down and up quite a bit, so only took a minute to pump a little air into it to get it ready to go. The only issue we had was where the Y harness connected to the pontoons, the hooks were too small to latch onto the loops on the pontoons, so we had to improvise by adding a couple of larger carabiners for the hooks to connect to. The tube itself is well made. Beware - it's big ! We have a 22 foot pontoon and it took up a lot of deck space as we got out onto the lake, so be sure you don't start with a boat full of people - you won't have enough room for them and this tube !! That plus the football meant we had to be careful with managing deck space. It also helps if you figure out a routine for pulling in the rope on your deck and keeping it untangled when you change riders. With that much rope, it can get tangled easily. Big Betty has been a blast so far !!

Big Betty is much more durable than the 4 person couch tube I own that keeps leaking. The ride is very stable and it doesn't leak! Great quality. 4 person couch tube is more fun for the kids, but it didn't last a season. Go with Big Betty!

tube is great but began leaking air second time that we used it, can not get it to hold air, would love someone from product support at amazon or Kwik Tek to reach out to me, my email is [email protected], I will be glad to post a great review if we can resolve the problem. I paid almost 400 dollars for this item and have had several tubes over the years and never had one that would not hold air

This is a very durable towable you will not regret buying ! I searched for a few weeks and went with Big Betty after seeing several people on the lake have the same product. Took it out this weekend and we had a blast. It comes with a quick connect already so you don’t have to buy separately.

Just got our big betty, looks very sturdy, it inflated the bottom very quickly but trying to get the back inflated was not too easy to do and we could not get it blown up to a solid feel. Any help would be appreciated

We bought this last year and had a good time with it. Very stable pulling forward and fairly unstable pulling chariot style makes for different types of fun. These products weather poorly under the sun so we started putting covers on them when not in use on the slip. Make sure to air down as well at the end of the or they will expand in the heat and pop like our big Mable did. Sadly big betty tore down the one side of the back rest on the interior. We were doing a normal run but had a more that 340 pounds loaded on it (2 adult males typically exceed this limit all the time). They want $200 bucks for a new cover when we can buy a whole new set up for $225. Had similar issues with the handles falling apart within one season as other have. Not sure we will stick with this brand which is a shame because the tube ride is quite fun.

We used for vacation. We liked the seat are are comfortable with backs as we used it for our small kids. And adults lived it to.

Love it, use it every weekend and sometimes needs to be topped off with air, but pull it at about 25mph with the big ball toe rope and does awesome.

It was delivered super fast. But it’s overpriced! We got it as a gift for our brother and for the price we expected a lot more.

Used it 4times now and it's been doing good. Tough and well made.
