I volunteer at my church for an after school program and this worked out great since I was in charge of science! Lots of great experiments and it also relates it to the Bible verse so was super helpful.

Lots of fun ideas with clear messages, although they are a little short for my purposes, but I can easily adapt and expand on them. I work with K-2nd grade kids, and they are always asking if I have an "experiment". I have several books I refer to, and this is a good addition to my collection.

This will help out homeschooling projects. By looking through the book, most of these experiments are easy to do and we have a lot if the items at home. My child is in 8th grade. She has already done a few things in the book prior to receiving the book but there are plenty of experiments to do.

Fun! fairly easy experiments illustrating Bible lessons. Attainable elements easily executed to teach and learn. I enjoy these and so do the kids. I’ve been using these for about 8 years in my classes. Highly recommend!

I purchased this book to gain some inspiration to liven up my Sunday School class. I found it a bit too wordy and with very few illustrations which does not work in my case. Happy for the no-hassle return.

Lots of great ideas to do at youth night and children's church. Some of the activities are a little advanced for the younger children, but the majority can be used for all ages. I like how each experiment has bible verses at the beginning of the experiment.

Have used a few of these ideas and they are great. Am planning to use all of them at one time or another. These seem to capture the children's attention better than some others I've used. Great book!

The first page I opened was about 7 day creation and talking about evolution being incorrect. I have not met many scientists in the UK who take this stance, and think that this it has rather discredited this book for me. Most scientists can reconcile God's complete overarching control and evolution, or at least acknowledge that Christians have different interpretations of this. Having said this, many of the activities look great - especially for early teenagers who are perhaps starting to question how faith fits into our (mostly) evidence based culture, and falling away from faith because they can't see how faith is relevent today.So - well worth a try - but make sure you read and are happy with each session before hand - some will be great, some could be damaging to young scientists trying to seek a path of reasonable faith.
