This indispensable book is simply written and narrates the must-do items if you plan on owning a Land Rover Discovery. I purchased two copies, one in my Rover and the other in my office. Having read through it, I find myself consulting it as I work through my list of modifications and repairs. Great book. I highly recommend it to anyone considering a Land Rover Discovery.

This book has 136 pages of very large text (the equivalent to half this or less in normal size font) which makes it poor value for money. It doesn't begin to compare with other books on the Discovery 2. The only issue well covered is the Three Amigos but, having read an Amazon US review, I'm not sure that the advice is good. Also, being published in the USA it makes no mention of the TD5 engine. Far more information is available in Haynes and Ralph Hosier's book.

Jason Martin has written a remarkably useful and valuable book that comes at a sensible price. Easily understood by readers with varying automotive knowledge and experience, Mr. Martin "plugs us into" his own considerable expertise and, importantly, good judgment. I read this book straight through and immediately had a better and more reliable baseline of knowledge concerning the Discovery platform. Mr. Martin has accomplished a remarkable thing in quickly and calmly transferring complete and subtle knowledge that is truly useful. His style is modest, humorous, and ultimately generous. I am, professionally and by avocation, 40+ years a a "car guy." I have never read such a useful, digestible guide as this one. Very well done; a quiet, solid masterpiece.

informative, not enough step by step details but still very informative. Gives you info and you can search to find specific details. If this book gave step by step details (not assume the buyer is an auto mechanic) it would be 5 stars hands all the way!
