I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to because I absolutely LOVE this eyeliner!! I was having an issue with other eyeliners not going on my lids at all or actually erasing the line I just drew on my eyelids. This eyeliner goes on smooth, doesn’t erase the line I’m going over (for a darker line) AND stays on all day without smudging! I’ve also had issues with other “waterproof” eyeliners rubbing off on my upper eyelid, leaving an unattractive line, but this eyeliner does not! If you like a brownish-black eyeliner, the Chestnut color goes on light, but transforms into a deeper brown with more coats. Be careful how much pressure you use because it is a gel eyeliner, which makes it a bit softer and breaks off if you’re not gentle. Another awesome feature is that it washes off easily with a regular face wash. I highly recommend this eyeliner!

The color was just what I was looking for. It was easy to use, creamy, easy to sharpen, although not a point, but rounded. It stays on through the day. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 as the last time I sharpened it, the crayon part fell out. I stil have 1/2 of the pencil left. I tried reinserting it, but it just does not work right. I threw it out and will start over.

I got this eyeliner in green and plum. The green is great, I really love it, it's just as pictured, and it stays on for more than one could expect. I also like that it doesn't seem to have toxic ingredients. I also love that you can sharpen it (even if it looks like it is not sharpenable, it is!) However, the plum one gave me a terrible reaction that caused an infection. Thinking it was a bad one, I ordered it again, and same reaction! But the green is totally fine. So, order knowing that!

It is hard to find a great "plum" color (most are bright purple!) but this is a nice dark plum. Works well for green eyes and is waterproof through swimming. Agree with others, however, these really are a problem to sharpen 😠, so can only give 3 stars. It either disintegrates to mush in the sharpener or breaks off after sharpening. Saw a tip online to freeze gel eyeliner 10-15 mins before you sharpen, so will try that. A pencil is no good at all if you can't use the whole thing.

Love this plum color and it goes on really nice and stays all day

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. What I got is not the product in the amazon picture. My liner crayon came in a plastic tube with no way to advance the crayon. Furthermore, when I put the cap on the back of the liner to hold it, and then took it off again, it took the end piece off with it. Now the end piece is lodged in the cab and I can't even put the cap back on! It's not possible to sharpen this liner because it would require sharpening a plastic tube, and then the very soft crayon gel would mush in the attempt. I have no idea what's going on here except that maybe this company made a mistake and produced a bunch of lemons that can't be sharpened and then is just selling them off to suckers. At $7 + some change, it's too cheap to try to get a refund, so just listen to my warning. I saw another warning of the same thing. And actually, if I DID get the kind that could be sharpened, I can't imagine how sharpening would not rip off the very soft crayon material. The only reason I got this liner over the one I love from Palladio is that this one got a EWG certification and my dark brown Palladio liner is rated at a green # 2... Still very good for toxicity, but not as good as EWG certified. Going back to my favorite Palladio eyeliner. That one can be advanced by twisting the end, it's soft and creamy, and works wonderfully well. Buyer beware on this one!

I got the gray and purple and brown. There is a wide variety of quality between them. Purples are hard to formulate, and it shows in this pencil. Dry, skippy, patchy, fades a bit. Can I make it work? Yeah, I guess, but I don't reach for it because of those issues. The gray is... fine. It has sparkles in it, which surprised me. The glitter isn't big, but it's there, and that sort of limits the use of this pencil. I don't reach for it as often as I would if the gray was a lovely, creamy textured matte. It is none of those things. But. BUT!! The brown is. It is perfection in a pencil. Long wearing, doesn't transfer on my hooded eyes, is creamy, a joy to apply, dark enough, soft matte, pigmented, doesn't skip, tug, or go patchy. The gray and purple are... ok, I guess. If you have other pencils that you like in those colors, you probably won't like these any better. But THE BROWN! Run, don't walk. You need, NEED the brown in your life. I don't even use brown eyeliner, or I didn't. Now, I use it everyday. If I need it to be a little darker, I'll use a bit of black shadow to tint the line. BUY THE BROWN!!!

Use Alamay products. Like the eyeliner, goes on smooth, and stays.

I wanted to give zero it just doesn't glide ..very patchy with hard lead

Almay makes this gel eyeliner with low toxic ingredients. I use it to tightline. It is dark black, goes on very easily, stays on all day, doesn't irritate and washes off. It's everything I want and is my new go to eyeliner. Hope this helps.
