Ramuc DS Acrylic Pool Paint - White (1 Gallon)

This product impressed me. I had a fountain and a bunch of bird baths to keep from leaking, and being old and grungy. After doing a little research, and knowing I might have some residual moisture to deal with, I took the plunge and paid the $80+ bucks for this paint. I two coated everything, and even used a pool of paint in one bird bath to fill a sizeable crack. It's holding. So now I don't have to throw away the old ones, and the fountain looks super. This paint even cleans up with water. I did use a lousy brush to paint with - 3" $2 nylon bristle, and cleaned it up sort of after I used it the first time. Getting paint into crevices and pores of concrete beats the heck out of a brush. My advice is toss the brush when you finish.

We have used this paint for over 10 applications. The last two times it has failed. And just 3 weeks I noticed yesterday air bubbles under the paint. We have done this process many times and always prepped the surface by removing old paint etc... So, I don't know if it's the paint but no other reason that makes sense. It's very frustrating as I don't think the pool will be usable by the end of the summer again.

Working on a 100 year old fountain with a 1400 gallon pool. The pool had been painted, patched and redone many times. Did a full scraping, wire brushing, sanding to bare concrete in places, then good scrub down with Dawn. After drying, caulked cracks with a urethane based caulk, patched rough areas with a concrete repair designed to be underwater, then spot primed bare concrete areas with this paint. Three full coats later, the fountain is running, the pool looks terrific and the paint has held incredibly well. Though we anticipate yearly maintenance to this old concrete base, we now know which produce we'd choose. Ramuc recommended the acrylic as so many other types of paint had been used over the years. As with all paint projects, preparation is the key. Highly recommend Ramuc pool paints.

Paint cans had been opened and apparently had water added to replace the paint that had spilled out to appear as a full gallon.I expect some type reimbursement!

Very easy to apply, rolled and brushed it on to fill every hole and crack. My pool is 30 yes old and looks almost new Didn’t need but half of what was calculated, but had plenty to put on two thick coats. Suggested 8 gallons only need 4 and seller allowed me to return unused cans Great all round experience. Doing it myself with me cleaning it twice and painting it twice saved me thousands!!!
