Logitech MK335 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo H390 Wired Headset

Not a Unifying receiver
I specifically bought this product because the description states, "Tiny Unifying receiver stays in your laptop and connects up to six compatible mice and keyboards." Logitech has products with Unifying receivers which have a little orange star on them and they're all cross compatible with one another (they also use Logitech's Unifying software). This product is not part of that system. I spent like an hour looking at keyboards making sure that that was in the description, so imagine my aggravation when this arrived. The keyboard and mouse are both fine for what they are—they type and point effectively—but this error in the product description means I either have to send it back or deal with it not being what I want. Very. Annoying.

BUYER BEWARE: NO UNIFYING CAPABILITY, LOGITECH PULLS A FAST ONE
I have been buying MK320s for our business for years. It used to be a great value, a wireless combo where, if your mouse or keyboard were to die, you can simply swap it out for another one thanks to the Unifying receiver and Logitech's Unifying Software. Not any longer. At some point in the last year, Logitech snuck in a change to the Wireless Combo MK320, presumably to cut costs, and now this combo is no longer Unifying compatible. The receiver is tied to the keyboard and mouse in the combo you bought, and that's it. There was no fanfare, no announcement, no new model number like every sane company in the world would do, they just kept selling MK320s with the new hardware and profited from their customers' ignorance of the change. I don't even know how many of these combos I've now deployed that will require full replacement before noticing the change when I needed to swap *just* a keyboard but as far as I'm concerned one is too many. Shame on you Logitech. The MK320 no longer comes packed with an M215 Mouse and K330 keyboard, instead they're bundling the M185 and a keyboard that doesn't exist in their normal model structure. It's cosmetically identical to the K330 but lacks the Unifying capability and does not have the K330 model number silk-screened onto the front.I can't even begin to describe how much a move like this insults and irritates me. If you're changing the product, you should at least announce it, if not change the model number. And you should ABSOLUTELY make sure that the world's biggest online retailer (as well as your own website) has updated information to reflect the change you've made. I can only assume that Logitech has chosen not to do so in order to pull a fast one and fool customers to buy an inferior product to what they expected. I will be investigating whether or not a competing manufacturer has an offering similar to Unifying prior to investing in ANY additional Logitech products. My loyalty to their brand is apparently worth nothing, I've heavily deployed their keyboards. mice, speakers, and various other peripherals over the years, but I will be seriously considering another manufacturer.

Quality and Simplicity
As the IT guy for the mid-sized company I work for, the Logitech MK320 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse are my go-to for everyone. Whenever we purchase a new computer or laptop for an employee, I always add one of these on top because they reduce visual clutter and are high-quality.The construction of both the keyboard and mouse are solid, and unless you have very specific tastes in keyboards or need particular extra features, there is nothing to complain about in their design or feel. The set comes with batteries included and the battery-life is great. In an office environment, I have not had to replace my batteries since I've been using the keyboard and mouse (a little over a year) and I do not hear any complaints from any of the other employees about battery life.I also appreciate how simple the set-up is for anyone. You do not need to know anything about technology! Just unbox the keyboard and mouse, plug in the tiny USB receiver, remove the battery tabs, and you're done! You can be up and running in literally three minutes. Finally, I do also recommend this set--which includes the Logitech Unifying receiver--because of the ability to mix and match other Logitech wireless mice and keyboards. This is especially helpful if you have a laptop that you take between your work and home office: you can keep a single receiver plugged in and not have to lug a keyboard and mouse back and forth.

does the job
So I have waited to do a review on this product for almost a year to see how it holds up. I work from home and that means I spend a lot of time on the computer..anywhere from 8-10 hours a day, five days a week. The keyboard works great and I have not had to replace the batteries yet. Mouse is the same. I like that the keyboard does have a separate number pad. Price cannot be beat. I have always had good luck with Logitech products

Logitech MK320 Wireless Combo - Good Value for the Price Point. Some Keyboard Response Issues.
Overall I am very pleased with this keyboard mouse combo. Here are some of the Pros and Cons that I experienced in my 1 month of ownership. This is an excellent combo for people like me that do productivity work, browsing the web, and light gaming. For more heavy usage like gaming I would recommend that you look else where for a wired solution that has a better response time. If I were to guess, I say that the keyboard might last 3-5 years. The mouse may last 3-6 years. Life span will of course depended on the level of care, usage and environment they are used in. These are my own views, I am not being paid or sponsored for this review. I have bought this set with my own hard earned money.Pros:1. The price point is attractive for this combo.2. The range of both the keyboard and mouse is good. I have tested at least 10 meters and it work well.3. Both the keyboard and mouse have a black backs that hides dirt and grime. Compared with many keyboards with white under bodies.4. The hot keys are easy to program and work great. They make productivity so easy.5. I love the built in calculator key.6. Both items take standard AAA batteries. They both come with batteries out of the box. Battery life has been good so far.7. They both use the same usb receiver, which saves your usb ports.8. There are slits at the bottom of the keyboard, I think they are to drain liquids if they are spilled on the keyboard9. Easy to type. Great typing feel.10. The mouse works well. The mouse is responsive. The mouse feels good in my large hands.11. Both item are light weight.12. The keyboard can be used on your lap. The mouse can be used on uneven surfaces like a bed. The mouse is best used with a mouse pad.13. The kick stands on the back of keyboard aid in typing, and are a good angle.Cons:1. The keyboard has some response issues. Letters and button presses might not respond. This was reduce dramatically once I installed the drivers and unifying Logitech software, and set them up. Now it only happens maybe once a day. Some times that keyboard can be slow to respond, especially when first waking up.2. Both items feel a little bit flimsy, more so the keyboard then the mouse. Nothing that is too noticeable a month in.3. The mouse has a line on the front of it where the battery compartment is. I am worried that liquid/sweat could run down there and ruin the battery.4. The power off switches are on the bottom of both devices and are hard to switch. Especially if you have hand mobility issues. To expend the life span of the combo I would recommend:1. Keeping both items in a room temperature, dry, level area.2. Keeping the keyboard clean and away from liquids.3. Cleaning the gap on the palm rest of the mouse, so that sweat does not run in there and ruin the batteries.4. Having spare AAA batteries to reduce your down time if the batteries died. So far this has not been a problem.5. Avoid hard button presses when using the items on uneven surfaces or your lap. Just touch type. On a table hard button presses are fine.***Update April 10.2019 - 310 days since purchased. ***I am still happy with my purchase. All of the keys are working, and look good.I love the short cut keys.I have not changed the keyboard battery since I bought it. I have changed the mouse battery 3 times with cheap dollar store batteries. I always turn off my mouse and keyboard when I am not using it.Some small issues that I have found:1. One of the rubber feet at the front of the keyboard has come off. (Cheap glue)2. The mouse scroll wheel is slow now sometimes.3. Some lag issues when playing games like CS:GO, but they are not very often.

Utter disatisfaction
The keyboard was faultybut to be fair the supplier immediately sent a replacement. Huowever this one was not satisfactory with functions in the incorrect pace. I treid to soldier on by trying to remember where the function actiually was. I then realised it was also a US type keyboard not European and this should have been made clear at the time of purchase, Their replacement keyboard then started to malfuncition. Fortunately I had retained my original Microsoft Keyboard and have gone back to thatI regret to say that I am completely disatisfied with Logiotech. Moreover this is a black marlk agaonst Amazon

There are much better options
I have been a big fan of Logitech products. As you can see I am presently using 4 of their keyboard and mouse combos at the same time. However I cannot recommend the Logitech Cordless Desktop MK335 Keyboard and Mouse Combo. Here are the specific reasons. A number of reviewers already mentioned there is a scratchy sound from the scrolling wheel on the mouse. It's definitely there and it is not subtle, it is loud enough to hear it from 3 feet away. More importantly the scratchy sound also translate to rolling resistance, it does not smoothly scroll, there is perceptible resistance. When you are scrolling up and down a short web page, this resistance is not a problem however I often work with several million rows of SQL data table and this slight resistance is causing a lot of pain in the wrist. None of the other three Logitech mice I own, which ranges from much more expensive to a lot cheaper price suffer from this problem. However, the bigger problem lies with what other reviewers have mentioned. The keyboard intermittently stop working. Reading various forum and reviews, this problem may be associated with aggressive battery saving mode to meet the advertised 2 year battery life, however I think this is a hypothesis not proven causation. I have found some work around, if you turn off and turn on the switch in the back of the keyboard, it will start working again. I had tested the hypothesis of aggressive battery saving mode, by going into the operating system power saving mode and resetting it to high performance mode (always on, never sleep) and in the advanced setting disabled the USB selective suspend setting. Then intermittent stops I have experienced completely disappeared. I would NOT RECOMMEND applying these settings to work around keyboard problem as such actions may increase your hydro bill, shorten the life of the computer (laptop battery) and stress other peripheral devices. Even the much cheaper MK270 do not have these problems.

Noisy and after 6 weeks the keyboard no longer works
Edit Feb 17/20: The keyboard started lagging and/or not working at all intermittently after a month, and the mouse occasionally lags now but the scroll wheel has gotten quieter and more responsive. After trying every tip and troubleshoot possible I've found nothing that fixed the keyboard issue and it had been very frustrating to try to use it since it typed nothing much of the time. As of today the keyboard has stopped working at all and I'm using my ancient keyboard to type. I've bought Logitech products for many years and recommended them to everyone, until now. I would not recommend this set, there are now many bad reviews online and the intermittent issue is very common. If Logitech doesn't come up with some fix for this I will not buy or recommend them again.Original review: Bought this set to replace my 10+yr old Logitech set. The keys are quite loud and feel a bit loose and the plastic housing feels cheaper than the old one, but it's laid out well and I like a full size keyboard. The mouse is also quite loud, especially the scroll wheel, and feels less well made than the old one. Everything works, but I've only had it a day so can't speak to longevity

Logitech MK320 Wireless keyboard/mouse - good value
This is my second MK320 keyboard. The last keyboard lasted 3 years less one coffee! Was totally satisfied with the previous keyboard and I am back in business with this new one. Will keep coffee away from my workstation.I would like a quieter keyboard, this one clicks when you type so if you are hosting a conference call and taking notes it can get annoying. But the keyboard is great value for the money.I have had an ergonomic keyboard and mouse in the past. It took me a while to get used to it and I loved it. BUT couldn't type on regular keyboards any longer so I elected to revert back to that standard keyboard.Expect this keyboard to exercise my fingers for the next 5+ years.
