The media could not be loaded. It's a nice big cave with plenty large openings and smooth surfaces inside and out, making it perfect for a Betta. If you have a smaller tank, make sure to check the (accurate) measurements and take a tape measure to the inside of your aquarium to be sure it will fit. I have a desktop ~6 gallon tank in the photo/video. I have noticed the Betta coming out of the cave when I get near the tank sometimes, so I know he's using it even though he's usually out and about when I'm in sight.The only down side is that my grav vac attachment to the suction hose doesn't fit well in the opening, so dirt can accumulate inside, but this can be fixed by using only a hose.

The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t expecting such a great product at the price. It’s smooth, heavy, and eggshell like surface that I plan to try and attach moss to it. Great quality. I will probably order a larger one to have on hand in my decorating collection.

I got this for my betta fish tank, followed all the instructions, and it still almost killed my fish(TBD) in less than a week. Now, I know most people will combat with, my fish already had existing issues etc. I've had my betta, Amaro, for almost two years and keep up with tank hygiene consistently. Thankfully I was home and able to spot the distress of Amaro in time to intervene. I did not realize it was this product until I saw dark specs floating in the water and discovered where it has started to break away and started to rust.I know before I bought this I scrolled through reviews, hopefully this finds who it needs to!

Very happy with this cave. The entrances are nice and rounded and smooth unlike a previous cave I ordered. Its actually bigger than I thought it would be and is perfect in my 36 gal tank. It did cloud up the water a tiny bit even though I gave it a good rinse but cleared up quickly. Overall I like it, so far though my fish have not went in it...They apparently prefer to hide under a fake plant.

This is much larger than I pictured from the description. It overwhelms my betta tank. The quality is great and it looks good. However, my betta is completely disinterested. I thought it would be a nice resting hideaway, but she makes a lot of effort to avoid it altogether.

This is a very nice Beta home but I do have to be honest I was disappointed cuz it is chipped on the top.

Big enough holes so that I can see my beta but deep enough that he feels safe in it. Nice contemporary look. Green algae is growing on it now so it looks even better.

An attractive looking cave with all smooth surfaces…nothing sharp that could injure the fish.

I received it broken. Really disappointed.
