Chili sauce from my younger years
Very pleased with this product. It took me back to younger years when Genie’s Wienies was a restaurant one block from where I grew up.The sauce was easy to make following the instructions. I cooked it one day before I needed to serve it, and I thought that helped the flavors blend together. There are recommendations on the package to steam the hot dogs & buns, which I did. Perfecto! We set up a coney bar at our July 4th bbq, and it was a hit!I will most definitely purchase this again.

Something was wrong with it - GROSS!
We lived in Hamtramck and went to Genies all the time. We purchased the seasoning packs in the past and it made great chili sauce. This time it was disgusting. We made it for a tailgate party and NO ONE could eat it. It was a waste of money on ground beef and the seasoning packs. We never purchase this again! If I could I would give this Zero stars! If Gene’s family is producing this product, they need to test it.
