FunWorld Women's Goth Maiden Witch Costume

I wear an 8, 36C, 144 lb., and the small 2-8 it’s too quite big as you can see from the photo. I usually order costumes up a size but you definitely should not do that with this costume. Keeping it as I like the colors and will figure out a way to alter or cinch. Hat was better than expected. I will use a wig for a witchy effect and figure out how to attach the hat. At 5’7” length is perfect as I’m not tripping over it and it is not too short. Sleeves are not scratchy. Tie up top let’s you cinch it a bit, but not enough!

I'm 5'9" 140lbs 34B.The hat was definitely too small but I was able to successfully rest it on my head for short periods of time while sitting or walking slowly. Walking briskly or a breeze would certainly cause it to fly off. I also stuffed the tip with paper towel to help it stand erect.The dress was a small/ medium and was far too large in the bust. Even my best padded bra and cinching it as tight as it would go didn't offer much help. Because I'm usually cold, I wore a long sleeve black scoop neck shirt under and it didn't detract from the overall appearance. The sewing was fairly low quality and some of the seams didn't match up but I guess that's what I'd expect for $23. Being taller, the length was good for me. I wore it with black bootie heels and you were able to see a tad of my stripped socks.Overall, it worked well for the money.

This costume is well made and attractive. However, everything the other reviewers said is completely true. I am 6' tall and ordered the smallest adult size offered, but I probably could have gone into the junior sizes. My issue wasn't with the length - the costume only came to the top of my witch boots (which is fine because I didn't trip on it) - but rather the bodice. I had it cinched up as tight as I could get it, it was still loose, and then all the extra fabric on the skirts kind of bunched at the bottom of the bodice. Since I am quirky and all my friends know this, I just translated my costume into a witch gestating an alien baby. But, order down on the size for the dress. The hat I thought would work for me because I have tiny head syndrome, but it was too small even for me. I used black ribbon and turned it into my purse.

Well, we bought these for our middle school drama presentations of The Wizard of Oz. Unfortunately, we had problems with the order–twice. The first time, the bottom hem was fraying. I asked for a return and Amazon's turn around time was fabulous, especially since the play was dawning. However, upon receiving the 2nd outfit, we discovered that the hat was missing! Thankfully, I did not return the old dress before receiving the new one. It was a little long, but the look itself was great. Many reviews said that the hat was too small, but for a 13 yr old. it was too big as it often cast a shadow over her grimacing face. So, I don't know what the deal was with all those shenanigans, but it all worked out in the end...well, hopefully. I still haven't returned the frayed one yet.

I ordered this costume for a party at my office. Given below are the pros and consPros:- The dress was great! I am a little heavily built(Wide shoulders and hips) and I usually wear dress size 8(Ordered a S/M) and this fit me very comfortably.- The fabric didnt look cheap and is worth the 18$ spentCons:- The hat! Are you kidding me! It is way too small. Its a pity coz the hat otherwise looked beautiful. Please make it bigger.- People who are below size 8 may have a problem with this dress. I lent it to a size 4 friend of mine and she hated it

I am 5'6" and 145 pounds. I ordered size S/M, and the dress itself fit perfectly. I did wear a shirt underneath because it was kind of baggy in the boob area. The reason I gave this 2 stars, is because the hat is way too small, as others have noted in reviews. I knew this when I bought it, but I was hoping it would work for me since I do NOT have a big head. I think my head is of average size and the hat was just, way, way too small. It would fit my 6 year old sister, but not an adult. I really don't understand why the hat isn't bigger. This costume would be almost perfect if it wasn't for the hat issue. I would not recommend this unless you have another hat you can use.

I am usually not one to leave reviews but this costume is just amazing for the price! I am 145 lbs and 5'8" and this costume in a S/M fits perfect! The length is perfect and the overall fit is just perfect! You can tighten the bodice which is nice. The quality is great; its a beautiful costume and I plan on using it for a few years. I like to dress up when I give candy to the trick or treaters :) The manufacturer must have fixed the issues with the hat that previous reviewers talked about because the hat fits me perfectly and I have a normal sized head and a lot of curly hair. If you are looking for a cost effective but nice witch custome you won't be disappointed if you order this one!

I am a size 6 and chose the small. it was huge, gigantic, enormous. there were two holes in the front where the velvet met the shiny fabric. i sewed those by hand as i needed the costume. i was not aware the sleeves were large fishnet material that is also open to the sleeves. very uncomfortable but okay looking i guess. for the price though, it's a decent witch costume. hat was too small though very nice with feathers. i paired it with another hat i owned.
