The media could not be loaded. The motor to my 2014 Explorer sunroof went bad. The sunroof was stuck open. Ford dealers wanted $858 to replace and install. I found this motor for $169 and my mechanic friend installed it for $100. It shipped in two days and Works just fine so far.

Arrived on time and worked…with a few quirks
I bought this product because my sunroof drains (didn’t know that existed) got clogged and shorted out the motor.Product arrived on time. Installed it with no issues and the motor worked. My only gripe is that the switches don’t work exactly as they should. The slide button now just slides until you take your finger off it. The tilt button no longer tilts it slides the sunroof back with one touch.Not a big deal considering I don’t use the sunroof that much anyway. And it would have taken much longer to wait for the OEM part.

Doesn’t work like intended
Looks very close to the same as original from the outside. If you take a look at the Circuit board that’s when you can tell how cheaply made this is. Long story short, if you want this to work switch it with the passenger side motor and use the motor you took off the passenger side and install that on the driver side. Otherwise it will not open and close soon roof correctly even when you try to sync them. I would buy oem but if your in a pinch and if you do this. Then you will have a fully functional moon roof. 2013 ford explore

Sunroof motor
This item fit perfectly on a 2015 Ford Explorer and works great. Item shipped fast, and was well packaged. I totally recommend it.

Doesn't work right
UPDATE: Welp it barely lasted 3 months and no longer closes the sunroof all the way. I have to use my hand and push the window closed while holding the switch which BTW isn't even the correct switch.The tilt doesn't work at all. If you press the tilt the widow goes back. The regular button also puts the window back and forward but the one touch doesn't work on any button.

Worked for the shade but not the sunroof tilt
This motor would not tilt the sunroof. So I installed it on the sun shade(passenger side) and moved the original sunshade motor to the sunroof (driver side) and it worked. It was a pain but everything works correctly now
