Nice to see an item on Amazon that's made in the USA. Operates just like Vise-Grips. It is well made and will take a beating. Great for freshwater fishing. Only issues with this are.... It is slick and hard to hold with bare hands. I tried them with my Glacier fishing gloves and still were a little slick (going to rough them up a little with a file for better grip). Once you lock them down, some people might have hard time opening them. When they lock they stay locked,which I like. Don't get me wrong, I like them. The issues are more towards my preference. Very nice shipping.

used it a few times yesterday. It will grip a fish. Most of the guys I fish with use the bigger version. I fish out of a kayak mostly so I like to keep my gear compact especially since I move from the kayak to someone's boat on the regular. I like this smaller one over the larger, its still plenty big. I had a 2lber going nuts and this thing gripped just fine. not to mention, I love the color.

These grippers are great. I am selling my Boga and using two of these in different sizes (that correspond to the sizes of the fish.) Especially nice for removing fish from the landing net and holding fish for pictures. You can even put a rope on the lanyard and drop the fish into the water, using the rope to revive the fish in the water before releasing it.

Great for small and medium sized fish. I grips tight but doesn't seem to harm the fish. It floats so I don't have to worry about losing it. I would buy again if I need another.

Just used this today to weigh around ten fish. Worked great. I have it attached to my scale and I wouldn't want to weigh them any other way. No harm to fish, no fear of them wiggling off during weighing process. Perfect.

Great and easy!

Nice size for smaller hands. Firm grip and handle locks into place. Comes with elasticated leash. Looks like an oringinal product as it has patent number, but as there was no packaging except a plastic bag it is not possible to be sure. Plastic appears good quality, so only time will tell how long it will last......just need to catch some decent sized fish to test it fully.
