My small 15 lb dog loves this car seat. There is an elevated platform for smaller dogs that allows them to see out the window. It is very well constructed with two straps holding it securely in place as well as a strap that attaches to the dog’s harness. I have had the carseat now for more than a year and it remains in excellent condition.

The seat generally meets expectations. Oscar the dachshund enjoys sitting in the carrier and appears quite comfortable. Assembly is fairly straightforward and easy although reversing the liner it is a little difficult when getting the zipper started. The straps for the car seat belts are fair. Stronger stitching might be nice for security and longevity but will likely be fine for normal every day use. The seat also tends to tilt forward a bit despite the seat belt restraint and head rest strap, but it's not enough to cause any major concerns with the dog in it. The built-in tether is sufficiently long enough to allow the dog to move around and adjust themselves for comfort. The attached side pockets are a plus for doggie bags, treats, and leash storage. Functional, durable, fair value for the money, and a plus for our canine buddy.

This booster seat is amazing! Very well made, easy to install and secure. I agree with other comments about the harness strap, it does not match the quality of the rest of the seat. I was able to still use the seatbelt harness with the seat, which was good. The only thing is, the smaller seat was too small for my dog! I had to return it because my 14lb Pom did not have enough room lay down in the seat. A couple more inches on the sides and it would have been great. This is a great booster for toy dogs, or dogs that are not too long, my dog was not comfortable in it because she didn’t have room to curl up. I ended up returning the seat, the next size up is too big. Was really bummed there were no other options.

I actually love this seat with a passion, and I got it because of the high sides to keep my little boy rolling around while taking a nap on a ride but he does not like the high sides one bit. He likes staring at me from the back seat but since it's uncomfortable for him to rest his head on the side while laying down, he stays standing up the whole time unless I tell him to sit down, and even them he stands up again. The strap is also too long but short at the same time? Too long in the sense that when he lays down but gets up to look out the window, the strap is wrapped around his neck despite the fact that he wears a harness in the car, but too short that if he wants to lay down with his head hanging out of the front, it keeps him restrained closer to the back, which is good. I love it but my clumsy boy doesn't know how to act with it properly haha

I have a Yorkie (about 10 pounds) and when not restrained he tries to get into my lap or curl up around my gear shift. Using this seat he is safely out of the way and he can clearly see me or look out the window. This dog seat is easy to install and when I don't need it I just unhook it from the seatbelt and swirl it around to hang over the back of the chair (when I am being lazy) or completely remove it and toss it in the trunk. Takes less time then you would expect and I have quickly done it while parked with one hand. There are covered side pockets on two of the sides to store poop bags and other goodies (I keep a cheap spare leash and a collapsible water dish in there) I also use this seat with a small baby blanket but you really dont have too. I just wanted to catch some of the leaves and dirt my dog drags around. My dog has a seatbelt harness (a separate purchase) that works well with this too so no worries if you have one.
