Very good stuff. Tough and versatile.
Great stuff. Soaks in well and forms a solid work surface for filler or paint.Just make sure that the wood is dry. Dig out rot and air dry for 48 hours or get a fan hair dryer or heat gun on it.I actually used this to encapsulate a badly oxidized aluminum centerboard. I was amazed after a summer in salt water it was perfectly fine. On the second season now. Tough stuff. Can be used to wet fiberglass patches too.Perfect for rotten thresholds. Soaks right in.Warning it's thin by design and runs on vertical surfaces. Apply in thin layers and build up.

Excellent
First time use of working with epoxy and wood. This is a really nice resin to work with, hardly any odours apart from the initial mixing. Not too many bubble releases and cures fast to a hard, clear surface.

Good only on horizontal surfaces
I used this product in addition to their epoxy putty product. It behaves like any traditional liquid epoxy - it will flow so it is not good on vertical surfaces. On the top of a weathered wood beam it did flow into the cracks, but if the crack extended to the edge it would tend to flow out and over the edge. So using this product, the putty counterpart, and Miniwax Wood Hardener did a good job in repairing decorative wood beams on the outside of house.
