There is no warranty ?

The lack of consumer protevtion in UAE is very shocking (at least for westerners). In my country we have minimum 3 years warranty on all electronics, 5 years on heavy appliances like refrigerator, ovens, etc. In UAE from what i could research its only aprox 3 months for electronics. Now i understand why things break down so fast in Dubai:( So many sell subquality products, or even bad logistichandled equipments, or even bug brands send b or c-levelrange of their equipmemts, while sell the sturdy highquality to Europe where they are protected by strong consumerlaws. (The models are often the same, but have been either sorted for regions destinations by the producers. Or sometimes different mft plants). Europe are "difficult" for the producers, because bad quality is expensive for them when sent in return;) Thats why they send the best to europe, and dump the lesser to regions which lack proper consumer protections. Btw, this is an answer in general to warranties in UAE and what to sadly expect. Buying brands in UAE is very much a hit n miss roulercoaster. Some are good, many are not ok. And since it is not same shipments as Europe gets, all your previous knowledge of what is top quality brand in Europe.... is out the door. I really hope UAE westernises their consumer laws. That way they could force the producers to actually deliver high buikdqualities. And that way UAE would save maybe billions in money saved, that goes to waste due to having to repurchase broken items. It is not good for a national economy when things break down so easy. Moneydrain out of UAE, and a lot of lost time spent on fixing and rebuying and lost work.
