FolbeF064 - Pontoon Square Rail Mount Kit - Fits 1"-1.25" (Will fit 1.5" Rails with Additional Hardware)

Odd use but worked absolutely perfectly, so my old mailbox was rusted and falling apart and like 50 perc of all inner urban households most mailboxes were shoddy mounted to metal railing. Mounted two of these babies with absolutely perfect spread of mounting holes 3.25" to my existing railing. Attached my new mailbox that are all designed for 4x4 mount and bolted my brand new mailbox with 0 modifications. All set for these 130 mph storm winds!

High quality part. Unfortunately the holes didn't match up with the item I wanted to mount but, between shipping costs and the restocking fee, it wasn't worth returning. Hopefully I'll find something else to mount that will match up better.

Just what I was looking for to add a motor mount to my kayak. I'm an actually using these upside down, mounting the rectangular plate to my kayak and running a 1 inch square aluminum tube across the kayak....2 mounts.NOTE: all of the nuts are recessed into the plastic, which makes things challenging when using upside down. Hardware mods were needed. Attached plate to kayak with well nuts.

no complaints had to do a minor alteration but that was because my boats rail was not perfectly square.

Although it will fit over a 1.5” square rail, it does so beyond the molded recesses for the rail. There is 1.5” between the screws. What the descreiption does not not tell you is that if you plan to mount it on 1.5” rails, you will need to purchase your own 2.5” stainless bolts as the included bolts are too short. This is stated on the instructions that you may read after they arrive to you. Cost me a day on my job as my boat is remotely located and these replacement bolts are not inexpensive, especially when you purchased 8 mounts!.

Gave me the option of mounting electronic devices on my boat without drilling any holes
