This is a must have for me.This little gem keeps our nursery smelling fresh and not like nasty diapers!One of my favorite things is the convenience! It’s small, so it a easy to place near your changing table.It’s classy. People ask me what it is. They don’t automatically think “diaper pail”.It’s simple. Easy to slip the diaper in without getting yuck on you. Bag lasts a while. I generally change the bag once a week with a baby in size 4 diapers, though I do pack ‘em in there!Reloading the bag is a breeze. It takes a try or two to really get it down, but the refill instructions are simple and easy to follow.If you don’t want to buy refills, a regular 13lb garbage bag with string will fit in great, too! Just tuck the top of the garbage bag over the lip where refills go, tighten one side of the draw string so the bag won’t fall when you put diapers in, tuck the string down into the refill area, and snap closed. When you’re ready to change the bag, pop the top open again, push the bag out, tie it up, and you’re on your way! I just buy cheap ones at Walmart. Because I don’t have anything with a sharp edge going into the bag, the super strong ones don’t matter for this application, so you can get away with cheaper. I’ve never had a store brand bust out on me with diapers only.I wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes after each bag change and let it air out before replacing the bag and closing it again. This has kept it from absorbing any unpleasant odors, though I don’t think you necessarily need to do this. I just like things to be clean.I recommend this diaper pail to everyone I know who is expecting or who knows someone that is.It is such a simple way to deal with diapers!!Highly, HIGHLY recommend! I'm so glad I got this thing. I was a bit suspicious of how low the price was on this, but I went ahead and this has been great to have.I've been dealing with dirty diapers for 3 years. I've burned through 3 official "diaper genie" brand diaper genies in that time. The regular diaper genie is great for keeping the smell out when throwing away another diaper, but they've got too many moving parts that depend on small plastic pegs and posts, and eventually they jam too hard, wear out, get loose, and break. They're awkward to empty, change, and refill, and again, they jam CONSTANTLY.This thing is a little smaller, sure, but it is so much SIMPLER. It's just an outer lid with a trapdoor beneath, and a simple little cabinet door for emptying the bag. It has huge advantages over regular diaper genie models.-simpler design w less moving parts-more reliable operation-easier to empty-doesn't jam (meaning less need to shove your hand in to clear it)-wider bag gives more storage than you'd expectThe only disadvantage this has is that, when sticking in a new diaper, you will have the container open for a split second and may catch a tiny whiff of the bag. That's gone in a second, and when it's closed it doesn't let any smells out. This thing has really simplified my life and I wish I'd gotten one of these first.

I just wrote a whole review for this diaper pail but after I submitted it I realized I wrote it on the diaper pail refill bags instead of the actual pail itself. So let me just say it’s great. I’m using it for used pads and not diapers and I’m thrilled to not have to change out the bags from my old trash can every few days because of the smell - this is a game changer if you deal with incontinence as an adult. It looks like a regular trashcan with a lid but it completely contains the odors and is really easy to use. The bags tie off in a simple easy way. I’ve been using this for several months now and am still using the bag supply it came with so I haven’t even opened the refill box I ordered at the same time. I highly recommend this product - and it was a great price.

Firstly, I have to say I was disappointed when first taking the product out of the box. It was quite expensive for what it is but feels cheaply made. The plastic is very thin, and it feels like it could break easily. That being said, it does look nice and has been WONDERFUL at reducing smells surrounding the litterbox. We have this in our small bathroom and fill it with litter and old potty pads all week before needing to change it and there are zero smells happening. The only time you can smell the contents of the container are when you're changing it. Overall I'm very pleased with the smell reduction amd sleek appearance. I just hope that it lasts given the construction.

Bigger than I was expecting and I like the design. I didn't know the liner was scented so I have to find some that aren't because I hate fake smells. I thought maybe the whole thing had been sprayed so I washed the outside and wiped it down with a lavender essential oil but I could still smell that gross powder smell. So if I can smell that inside the trash I am sure I will smell the diapers. The design is nice, when it's full you pull the bag out and it has a cutter on the door and then you tie off the end of the bag instead of changing it like a regular trash. I looked into a lot of diaper pails from 30-80 dollar range and they all have pretty much the same pros and cons so I figured I'd go with the cheaper option that is still a good design. What is even the point of scented bags? Nothing will make the odor of a diaper smell better and when you put fake smells in the mix it's usually much worse. That's my fault because I didn't read the part where it stated they were scented. It's not totally hands free because while it has a foot pedal to open the lid, there is a little knob that you turn to unlock the hatch and then you shove the diaper in that way. You can leave the knob in unlock position, but I think it may be a bit more air tight if you leave it locked between uses. It's not a big deal though. Overall I like it.Edit:Still want unscented bags but this definitely keeps the smells in. When you live in a small apartment and you can leave for the day and come back and not smell poop then it's working. Holds A LOT

I purchased this disposal system because my 80 yr. old mom suffers from incontinence. She requires hygiene products (day & night). She lives with us, and we were both frustrated with product disposal. The Dekor hands free diaper pail is a God Send! This product eliminated numerous trips to the outdoor trash can during the day & her trying to deal with product disposal at night. The bags (comes with system) are easy to change (make sure you read the exact steps) it is important to ensure that the bag dispenser is correctly inserted. There is a convenient bag cutter on the inside door. Simply knot the bottom of the plastic bag (adjustable size), when the bag is full (ready to dispose), simply cut the top portion of the plastic bag tie in a knot and throw away. Refills can be purchased on Amazon. Typically, I empty it once per day. No more fowl odors in the bathroom and my mom has regained her dignity. I am extreemly happy with this product!!

El bote es de buen tamaño pensando que solo va almacenar pañales. Yo lo utilizo para pañales de tela y no deja salir ningún olor. Las bolsas son fáciles de instalar, yo le puse de tela y le queda a la perfección no sabía que la misma marca del bote vende bolsas reutilizables y compré dé La marca Ecopipo y le quedó a la medida. El bote viene con una bolsa de plástico para usar de inmediato por sino tienes repuestos utilices el que trae mientras. Deben ser como el equivalente a 5 bolsas. Es un rollo de plástico que vas cortando y haciendo nudo la punta para ajustarlo a la medida. Estoy muy satisfecho con mi compra.
