Best boot ever
I was on the fence due to cost. However elk hunts in Utah and New Mexico made me a believer. Easy break in, great comfort, 6 miles in New boots=no blisters or hot spots. Water resistant, quick dry, perfect in all conditions. Good stiff sole for mountains. Great boot and will wear these for a long time and buy another pair when the time comes. Would suggest buying a half size larger, I'm normally an 11 and got the 11.5 and they are perfect. They are a little heavy but expected.

Extremely pleased, fits well
I took the plunge after buying nothing but cheap boots for over a decade. Extremely pleased, fits well, waterproof, warm in cold weather and not too warm when really active. Dry fast and very comfortable. One thing I did notice, living in Canada, I got to be VERY careful on those -40 days as the sole gets very hard but that's pretty much it...

High Quality Boots
It is too early to provide much of an opinion other than these boots and the Lowa brand in general are highly recommended by serious outdoor enthusiasts. Definately high quality and the best made pair of boots I've ever owned. I purchased for hunting and work (forester). So far they fit and feel great. I did replace the footbeds with High Country Synergy footbeds and they feel better than the factory ones.Ok, I've owned the boots and worn them every day for about 3 months now. I'm a forester, rancher and a hunter and I walk at least a couple of miles every day. Most days, I walk several miles, sometimes in the river bottoms and sometimes in steep, rocky hills. I'm 50 and my feet had started giving me some trouble. I've always worn footwear from the "work boot" category. I know now that I should have always worn boots in the quality hiking/ backpacking category. These are by far the best pair of boot I've ever worn. They keep getting better every day. I don't get as tired as I did when wearing other boots and my feet are in much better shape now. If these boots will last me at least a year ( I think they will), I will, without a doubt, purchase another pair. They are expensive compared to other boots I've worn but they are well worth the money so far.The pair of Lowa Tibets I reviewed above will be 2 years old next month (today is 5/3/2016). They look pretty rough on the outside but still feel and perform great. I'm breaking in a second pair now. As long as these boots continue to fit my feet, they will be the only one for me.

Best pair of boots that I have ever owned.
I got these from Amazon based upon some recommendations from some other hikers. I didn't want to spend this much and was able to leverage a GC and an Amazon promotion to get them for <$200, but they would have been worth the full price. They are, hands down, the best boots I've ever owned. I have been breaking them in over the last few weeks and have been amazed at how they fit and wear. This is not what I would call a lightweight boot, but you hardly can tell that you are wearing them.I started wearing them a few hours a days around the house and then out on some short hikes to break them in. Absolutely no hotspots, rubs, etc.I wear a size 10.5M to 11M shoe/boot normally, and I purchased these in an 11. The fit is perfect. Perhaps a little extra room in the toe than typical, but that does leave room for a heavier sock if necessary.GTX bootie has been truly waterproof. I have worn them through some slop already and my feet stayed dry. The only thing I will say about the GTX is that it makes this a warm boot. Even though it isn't insulated, with the right sock(s), these boots would be adequate for all but the coldest of days.

Good climbing boots
These boots are really comfortable. I put them on the first day, walk the whole day and had no blisters. They have very good grip and are light - perfect climbing boots. The only problem I have encountered is that they are easily cut if you walk on talus slopes.
