Awesome, cheaper than other brands.
I've been using Opsak but wanted to try these as a cheaper alternative. The closure is easier to use, and they are equally if not more durable.I took them backpacking and didn't have room in my bear bag for a few of the snack bags and so had to leave them out. No chew marks.Then, because we had to pack our waste (aka poop) out of this area, we placed the waste bags inside one of these Smelly Proof ones. My partner accidentally threw the pop bag in the car with us for the drive home and we didn't even notice until we opened our gear. No smell at all.I'll buy more of these!

This really worked!
The reason I ordered these bags is due to the onion smell we often have in our refrigerator. I enjoy onions in my cooking, but I don't enjoy having their smell inside our entire refrigerator. I looked for a solution on Amazon, and I found this product. I've very happy with this purchase. I'll use it for other things as well!

Clear not white Bags
The bags pictured were solid white. I received clear. Other than that they seal well and hold stuff.

Durable
We used these to build our own backpacking meals. They held up great, kept food and odors inside, and we used the dirty bags to pack out our trash. They were definitely water proof and air tight. We will reuse what we can and probably purchase more in the future.

Load out staple
If you camp in bear country you NEED these. If you camp in racoon country, you'll also be glad you have these. I use them for food as well as personal items like chapstick, sunscreen etc. They work perfectly and completely retain scents. Of course, I use a bear box when available, but these are an extra deterrent. I've used them multiple times a month for over a year and they still work perfectly. I pair them with an Ursack Bear bag.
