Mr. TuffyTube Protector BL 26-24x1 3/8

Haven't fixed a flat in a LONG time. Fairly easy to install. And my Son really does run thru some bad areas.

A tad pricey, but still cheapest on Amazon. They afford very good protection from punctures (none yet, after months of riding). Not the easiest things to work with when installing, but that's expected.

As far as I know these are the only tire strips you can buy to fit a 26x 1 3/8 tire. Getting them to stay in when you first put them in the tire can be difficult, but after the tube has been filled up the pressure forms these liners to the inside of the tire keeping them in place if you need to change a tube or access the spoke screws.I have to ride by a sawmill near my house and have not had a single flat since I put these in.

Easy to install and I do not feel any difference in road feel, so I am very happy and hope that I will go a long time without a flat. It gives you some peace of mind knowing that you took a step to prevent a flat.

I have been using Mr Tuffies since 2008 in all my bikes. The last flat I had was in 2010 on a cross state Bike tour, and it was due to a defective valve stem. I normally average about 2500 miles each year. Don't substitute some other brand.

I have used other Mr. Tuffy liners in another bike. So far so good on both bikes. I would recommend them to anyone who is sick of changing flat tires.

With these installed, I haven't had a flat in 1000 miles. I had a couple of flats in the same mileage on the same roads before. They installed easily.
