It has a violet hue to it. These are genuine hair pipe bone beads. I purchased them from a store in Orange Ca. The Matoska trading Company; they are a good quality, white bone hair pipe from India. They are handmade and will have some irregularities. Which is desired because it means, they are genuine hand cut bone and not plastic. The cord is genuine Indian leather cord, 1.0mm distressed grey. The beads are a combination of Sterling Silver plate and Silver metal. The toggle clasp is Sterling Silver plate. The length is 19". You can shorten it by knotted the ends of the leather. This necklace/choker is really lovely; it is dainty and delicate, but it has that lineal feel to it. Amethyst is a powerful and protective stone.
