Particular Paws Anti-Chew Bitter Spray for Dogs - Tea Tree Oil to Help Soothe

I've never been compelled to write a product review before. Anti Chew, however, has changed my dog's behavior so well that I think it's worth telling other people about it. If you have had problems getting a dog to stop chewing things that it's not supposed to chew, then I would recommend trying Anti Chew before you give up. There were a lot of other products that promised similar results, but I chose Anti Chew because I liked the ingredients. I'll admit that my dogs are spoiled. They probably eat better than a lot of people do. Because of that, I didn't want to give them anything that might hurt them. There is, of course, always the possibility that so-called natural products won't work well. I was optimistic, but I also cautioned myself not to expect any miracles. I was pleased to find that the youngest dog in our group immediately ran away from a pair of shoes that I had sprayed with Anti Chew. She was the only one who was causing a problem, so I felt like things were finally getting back to normal. That was about three months ago. She's doing much better than before thanks to Particular Paws.

So so product. My CKCS puppy has no fear of the taste. Sniffs it and keeps right on with his mischief. Way too expensive for so little results. Would not purchase again. UPDATE: I reviewed this item too soon after receiving. Thought it would work instantly which was asking way too much of the product. However, it does work and works beautifully. My Cavalier knows when I pick up the bottle exactly what it is and stops chewing instantly. Will be ordering a second bottle until we get past the chewy puppy stage of life. Please note too that the company responded instantly and cheerfully and gave me not only the offer of a full refund but the best and most helpful advice I have found to help guide me thru puppy stage. They are a very special company and I would purchase without question any product they sell.

Since I got my puppy at the end of last year she has been terrible about chewing everything from the couch to my hands. Nothing seemed to stop her. Some friends suggested that I try a bitter tasting product that would make her hate chewing. I went through three brands before I gave up. I found Anti Chew after she chewed up my favorite rug. I was so desperate that I was willing to try anything. The good reviews urged me to give it a shot. The worst that could happen is that she would still keep chewing, right? When Anti Chew came in the mail, I immediately put some on my hands and held them out to her. She took one lick and ran off to the other room. I was so happy! I put some on an area of the couch that she for some reason really likes. She didn't even bother it. Just one nibble was enough to convince her that it just wasn't worth it. I'm tempted to try it myself just to see what it tastes like. Considering how much she hates the flavor, though, I think I will resist that temptation. Now I can buy a new rug without worrying.

I've been breeding dogs for most of my adult life, so I've seen pretty much every odd behavior that you can imagine. As a breeder, though, I sell most of the dogs. I only end up keeping the ones that I really like or the ones that no one else wants to buy. That's how I ended up with Charlie, a runt dalmatian who loved chewing, of all things, doors. If you didn't keep her in a crate at night, she would sneak out of the bedroom to gnaw on any door she could find. If it was open enough for her to get her mouth around it, she would chew it. It was the strangest thing because she never chewed on anything else except her toys. I've used bitter tasting products before to train dogs. It had been a while, though, so I didn't know what brand to get. I ended up buying Chew Not because it had good reviews and the price was right. I was surprised by how well it worked. I put a small amount on the doors in my house and Charlie completely lost interest. Now she's one of my favorite dogs and I'm glad I got to keep her.

UPDATE:Particular Paws sent me a second bottle but, unfortunately, it seems the fulfmillment center at Amazon dropped the ball again as the second bottle still came with the screw cap an no spray nozzle to be found. With the second package somewhat confirming that the case of the missing nozzle was beyond the company's control, I do feel a bit guilty about being easily frustrated at the situation especially when a small business is involved. So I apologize to Nancy at Particular Paws and assured her that I will try to find a spray nozzle to fit the bottle or get a generic bottle at a local store. I'm very happy with the efforts Particular Paws made and have changed my rating to reflect their customer service.This rating is for the place that sent my item: Although this bitter spray clearly shows a spray nozzle on the product image, mine did not come with one. I'm annoyed as I aim to get my stuff on time before the puppy arrives and having to go out and look for a spray nozzle to fit the neck of this bottle is just darn frustrating. I could very well get a generic bottle spritzer but, I do want to have the label on products like these. I understand gigantic refills come with the screw covers but, this is an 8oz bottle meant to be a ready-use item. SMH! I sent the store an email and hope it's resolved soon.
