When I originally asked if this chair was stable I had mixed reviews. I decided to purchase it anyways. I'm 6'4" and 280lb. This thing is definitely stable and extremely comfortable! It has a nice soft leather feel. It rolls across the ground very nicely. I was looking for a chair that can handle a guy my size, and recline when I'm taking a break. This is the one. I have zero regrets spending the little extra money on it. It's definitely worth it!

I get that real bad pain on my tailbone when I sit in a wood chair for to long and stand up. I get the same feeling with this chair, I love the leg rest and that it reclines but the padding on the main part of the chair is just a deal breaker for me. If you buy some sort of specialty pillow for this it would be great. But for 250 dollars it should be fantastic.Updated review.The support team reached out and really tried to make everything right, they offered a complementary cushion for their chair and a full refund. I had already returned it but I very much appreciated the support and offer. I would have tried the cushion if I knew about it. I understand that some people like a more firm sit and I shouldn't knock their rating down for my preference.

ZERO STARS. My left foot is in a cast after surgery and must be non-weight bearing for six weeks. I needed a way to sit comfortably for most of the day with my foot supported off the floor. To avoid any problems I did not go for the cheapest option, this was a $299 supposedly quality chair. The foot rest which was key to my reason for purchasing is supported on two metal rods which slide out. The metal rods are held to the the chair by two plastic sleeves, which proved to be complete inadequate. One side broke (see photo) within 2 hours of use, rendering the entire purchase a disaster. Not least was the difficulty in disassembling this for return, the gas cylinder was an extremely tight fit in the 5 legged base and also at the other end into the seat. I had to then additionally purchase a pipe wrench and a rubber mallet to try and to disassemble it just to get it back into the box it came in. Since as I mention I am pretty much disabled at this time and cannot put any weight on my foot, disassembly proved to be extremely difficult stressful and time consuming, as well as expensive. The metal gas cylinder is an interference fit with the metal star base which holds the casters and I never did manage to separate them despite hours of trying (with one foot off the floor at all times). I cannot express how much frustration I have at this point with this product and how poorly designed / manufactured it is to break within two hours. Also not very comfortable compared to my current office chair which is a Staples Torrent, much cheaper, better and lasts for years, but doesn't have the integrated foot rest. UPS pickup is "free" but they only schedule for the next business day, you cannot choose date or time. Worst ever experience shopping on Amazon.

Absolutely love this chair! It’s so comfortable and perfect for my office. It looks so fancy and feels so fancy as well it’s made with very good quality! Totally worth the price the BEST part is that it leans back 180 degrees and you can lay flat and relax!

Chair is much smaller than expected. Feels cramped to sit in it. Padding is too hard. Back is too short for tall people. The awkward footrest bends down when any weight is applied. The whole thing just feels flimsy. It's uncomfortable. I should have gone shopping in person. Won't return it as it's too much trouble to disassemble the thing, pack it in it's enormous box, and take for mailing, so I'll just shove it in a closet somewhere and shop for other chairs in person.
