I got this for soap making. It makes perfect melt and pour soap embeds and they are super easy to remove from the mold. It’s made of a super flexible silicone that’s also super easy to clean.

I used to buy the frozen garlic cubes because I hate the pre-crushed garlic you can buy in the jar (it tastes weird) but realized it would be way cheaper to make them myself using the fresh peeled garlic from Costco. I drop the garlic in a blender, add in some olive oil, spread the mix into this ice tray, and pop it in the freezer. Once frozen, I pop out the garlic dots (they look like candy Dots) and drop them in a freezer-safe Ziploc for storage. Then repeat with a new batch. I got regular size ice cube trays for garlic cubes when I'm making large meals, but I specifically searched out something smaller I could use for dips, etc., so the garlic wasn't overpowering. These make the perfect size frozen garlic for that, and they're WAY easier to pop out than those hard plastic trays with the silicone push-up bottom (which broke the first time using them). Impressed with the ease of popping out something so small. Definitely would buy again!

These trays do not work well for making ice. They are very flexible which makes it almost impossible to carry them without spilling water. Also, the "cups" are very shallow - even pouring water from a measuring cup (not the spigot) the water spilled over and never stayed in the cups. I think they would work well for baby food or something more "solid" but not for making ice from water.

We had a strong chemical taste in our water and it took us forever to figure out what was wrong. We did a lot of trial and error to figure out the source; we tested our water filter, our cups, the tap water itself, etc. Once we narrowed down that this terrible chemical taste had to be coming from the ice trays, we gave them a good thorough wash to give it one more go and only waited long enough for the ice to freeze before trying it (so it couldn't be from sitting in the freezer) and it was as strong as ever.I wouldn't recommend.

Perfect for making homemade gummies. They pop out so easily and are so easy to clean. I loved it so much that I bought a second one. I've been using them almost weekly for a few months now and they look like new. Great purchase.
