These data/credit-card size, clear rigid plastic holders from Alliance ID feature thumb-notches on both sides for easy card removal and a slot at top for easy attachment to lanyard, badge reel or chain. Tough rigid polycarbonate keeps cards from bending.

Great for 1 badge, not so great for 2
I have to use 2 different "smart" cards at work, and wanted a single badge holder to carry both of them instead of the 2 badge holders I was using at the time. This card holder is constructed of high-quality polycarbonate and appears impressive. However, I found that, while it will hold 1 card very well, if the 2nd card is another smart card (or anything of similar, credit card-like thickness), the fit will be too tight to be able to remove the cards in an acceptable manor. The 2nd card slot would work just fine for something thinner, such as a business card, but do not expect to be able to hold 2 CAC/PIV/etc cards in here and be able to remove them with any sort of ease.

hard plastic holds cards securely but they are easily removable (though not from the middle channel)
Bought this to hold my monthly train ticket/Metrocard and a company ID. Not sure if they sent the 3-card holder by accident or if the design simply allows it but there is a thin 'middle channel' that will hold one more thin card. Fairly heavy duty, hard plastic holds cards securely but they are easily removable (though not from the middle channel)... I have to swipe one of mine regularly and it is easy to get it out of the holder when I want to.*Does not include lanyard! For this price they could have thrown something in but it isn't advertised as having one.Only thing I don't like is when you have cards in a separate holder like this, they are much easier to forget! Obviously not a problem with this specific product but when stuff is in my wallet, I don't worry about forgetting/not having it. Just something to get used to.

Great For CAC/PIV Use
I use this ID holder for my CAC. The plastic is robust yet light and crystal clear. While fully seated in the holder the card doesn't budge. When removing there is an initial friction point then the card slides easily. This is a welcome feature to prevent unintentional removal of the card. Works well with a typical lanyard.

both fit in there but good luck trying to get the thicker badge out
i have a picture badge and a thicker card badge that is used to scan to get into my work building...both fit in there but good luck trying to get the thicker badge out. i am pretty sure its stuck in there. the plastic material feels solid and i feel safe knowing my badges wont fall out.

Well designed, very useful and durable
I got this to attach to a lanyard I use for work. I only use one ID in the holder and it keeps it in securely without being so tight that you can't get it out. My guess is that the other reviews saying the ID fits too tight may be trying to stick the ID in between the divider when the ID's should actually be placed on the side of the dividers. It has a reveal on each side which allows staff checking the ID to touch it, which is necessary in my work setting. Additionally, the plastic seems very very durable and I have no fears that this will break.

This is fantastic! I've had problems with my badge cover tearing away from my lanyard in the past, but not anymore! This badge holder keeps my work ID safe AND it holds the lanyard hook securely. The cut outs on both sides enable the user to push out the ID when it needs to be removed. Once I had difficulty pushing it out on one side, so I turned it over and used the opening on the other side. I try to avoid buying plastic, period, but I have to admit this was the perfect choice.

Though it is a sturdy case, this card case was not meant to hold 2 cards. On one side, it is less tight and easier to remove a card compared to the other side. However, when I first received the item and placed one card on each side of the card case, both of them got stuck. I almost had to break the case to remove either card until I taped the card to a piece of paper and pulled it out that way.The middle plastic divider between each side seems to be too thick to fit two cards of standard thickness.

ONE badge holder for 2 cards.
It is well made. I thought I was getting 2 as I understood it as 2-Card Heavy-Duty Badge Holder but you only get one, it HOLDS 2 badges. My mistake but I think it should be better written so that it is clear so it doesn't get confused. Example: 1 Clear Verticle Heavy-Duty Badge Holder that holds (accommodates) 2 badges.
