The whole point of ABC flashcards is for 3-5 years olds to learn the letters by connecting them to commonly used, familiar words they already know. What these ABC flashcards do is something different by using strange, very uncommon words, which destroys the whole purpose of ABC flashcards. For example:Oo oboeMm marblesXx x-trayEe easelYy yarnQq quiltUu unicycleNn nines (99999) - really, is this the only N word you could find??? It's not even a real word.Was is so difficult to use normal words?!

Very cute, clear and nice cards but my strong baby boy has already bent a few so it would be nice if they were a bit thicker.

These are perfect! We purchased these to replace an old set of flashcards that used confusing words for certain letters (e=eye, etc.) and I am so glad we did! This set has TWO of each letter, and each letter that has 2 sounds has 1 card for each of those sounds. I have never seen this before but as a homeschool mom this is huge to me. The cards are very sturdy as well, by flash card standards...but I know my kids will still destroy them if I am not watchful.
