Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Container, Green 1

I was looking for something for my fiance to bring his lunch to work and my assistant manager suggested the Lunch Blox series. She has 3 boys (10 yr old and TWIN 8 yr olds) and an Amazon addiction, so I felt secure in the recommendation.I ordered the Sandwich container "just to start", and I am thoroughly impressed. It arrived on time (a day early in fact), in good condition and well packaged (I ordered several things at once). I *was* worried it would be too small for whole grain wheat bread, but it fits perfectly, with no room for the sandwich to slide or fall apart. I would expect traditional white bread, however, to be a little looser in the container. It's deep enough to fit a sandwich without crushing it (I make a pretty good size sandwich) and fits well in the lunch bag I got, which isn't a Rubbermaid product.I am so pleased with this product and will definitely be completing my Lunch Blox collection!

I have bought multiple sets of this product. It is so nice that there are ice packs that fit perfectly on top of the container. Must have! My daughter loves them!

Does its job perfectly for the average sandwich. For a large sandwich, you are going to want a bigger container. But this one will hold a normal slice of bread fine without allowing it to slide around. Seems durable and seals well so far.

There is a larger version on this which contains a handy divider - excellent for salads but I am fairly lazy with my nutritionally dense lunch packing and this container, meant for a sandwich, holds 2 cups of spinach, romaine or the greens of my choice beautifully.I pack a small vessel of dressing, another small vessel of nuts and put grapes in something else and I have a complete lunch and no one can tell if I am vegan, vegetarian or a carnivore. It is perfect and cleans up beautifully. I highly recommend this line in general and the integrated blue ice snaps onto the lid so you can be sure to keep your contents cool if you don't have refrigeration available or if you simply want to keep your amazing lunch close by.(People who steal lunches are evil - but they do exist.)

My girlfriend and I use these all the time. They hold the perfect amount for a meal and the lid almost always stays tight.I fly frequently and this fits nicely into my work bag so I can be cheap and not buy airport food.They stack fantastically.Recycle all of your old tupperware and switch over to these.Also, take a look at the salad containers too - they are pretty awesome as well.

This container keeps your sandwich fresh and it holds any square bread sandwich. It will not hold a baguette type sandwich but can hold a small flat bread sandwich. It maybe sold as a sandwich container but you can use it for other left over meals as well. As mentioned in a previous post relating to the Lunch Blox series - this container can be mixed and matched with the other Lunch Blox containers with the ice block.

I love these containers. They are lightweight and come in many convenient sizes. As with any plastic container, they will stain if you put tomato sauced foods in them, but other than that, easy to clean and snap together and snap on the ice packs too. All they need is a Tile so I can locate all the ones my kids have "misplaced."

perfect size for my lunch but some lids are not completely secure so I wrap a rubber band around them sometimes.

Awesome container. Already own 2 of these. The size is perfect for a sandwich or any meal.

Compact and good quality

These only really shine when you have a few of them. I recently bought all my tupperware for my new life and went with Lunchblox. They're super easy to stack and store, more or less clipping like lego bricks. Not always necessary in a lunch kit, but they're showy, fun and easy to organize in the fridge.
