ALFI brand RAIN16R 16-Inch Solid Round Ultra Thin Rain Shower Head, Polished Stainless Steel

At first use, I was disappointed when I noticed that the center nozzle was a high pressure stream that actually stung against your skin.surrounding by gentle flowing water. I installed a second diffuser from my old shower head hoping to even out the spray, but without success (there's a BB size port just past the diffuser that narrows the stream and that stream is directly over the central nozzle). I at first removed the nozzle thinking it would soften the stream, but the water sprayed out at an uncontrolled 90 degree angle toward the wall and I thought I had ruined the head. For the next couple of hours, I went through my junk parts bin hoping to find something to slow this out of control jet.. I eventually clipped a plastic tip off a caulk cartridge and cut it down to fit in the hole left by the removed nozzle. The water now perfectly flows out of the remaining nozzles and provides a wonderful experience!

I love this shower head. The large diameter is just what I was looking for and the rain effect is perfect!It drips cold water if it isn’t being used with one of the secondary heads in our shower. And now after 5 years, the sidewall split and is pouring water out the side. Will have to be replaced. I’m not sure we’ll buy it again.

Way better priced than other smaller heads. Expect nice soft rain shower, not hard spray. AlsoA little dripping after shuts off. Very good buy for the money.

We purchased this shower head for our new home a year and a half ago and I was a bit skeptical considering the amazingly low price. However, it has turned out to be one of the best decisions we made in our entire building process. We have had absolutely zero issues with it and the coverage is amazing. In fact, I used to love going to hotels and using their high-end rain showers but now those are a step down and I can't wait to get home to my own. Some users have said this is their only shower head and that it works well for rinsing hair. Perhaps that would be true if you had short hair but for me, with hair past my shoulders, I definitely require another more direct and pressurized shower head to get a clean rinse as the ALFI is more like standing in the rain. That said, I wouldn't give this up for anything and have considered purchasing another for whenever we move just to be sure I can still get one.

Great shower head, until it fails! This morning the seam burst suddenly, freaking out my autistic little boy and sending huge amounts of pressurized water everywhere in his bathroom. Basically the welded seam is crap. Terrible.

After having this for several years the two metal sheets came apart. Just an FYI. Was a good product while it lasted. For the cost I would have expected a bit more life span.

Just installed this shower head in my outdoor shower last week and haven't bathed inside since!!!The affordable price tag actually made me nervous, but I'm so glad I didn't splurge on a more expensive brand. I did my research, and I couldn't find another stainless rain shower head this size for even close to this price.This shower head is not for someone looking to conserve water, the water comes out smooth, great flow, and just like rain! I am thrilled!!! (I've read some reviews claiming that it "sprays" but this is not my experience)I have mine mounted facing straight down, ~2 feet above my head. I'd consider changing out my bathroom fixtures after having this!

Although the shower head covers a large area it has little pressure. Thinking of buying a different shower head!
