Large tub of seeds and NO waste!
This is the second tub of these seeds I have purchased within 3 weeks. We on!y have a tiny front garden but we put lots of feeders up. The result has been so rewarding. Blue tits, Great tits, goldfinches, a pair of wagtails , the robin and blackbirds come in to hoover up any spillage and we have a squirrel (quite unexpected) who quickly learned how to lever the top off one of the feeders. He now has his own feeder with appropriate food and leaves the bird restaurant alone. The seeds are varied and of really good quality. They suit all our feathered visitors. There is no waste and any spillage is eaten by ground feeding birds. The seeds are lovely and fresh and the reseal tub keeps them so. We have been doubly rewarded this week with parent birds bringing their fledglings along to be fed and learn where their food comes from. Hence the 2nd tub within 3 weeks. This product is highly recommended and is excellent value for money bringing much joy as we watch all our feathered visitors thrive.

Extra Select No grow Wild Bird Food In Bucket 5 ltr (Pack of 1);
Review Title: A Great Choice for Bird Lovers! I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed with this bird food. It's been a real hit with the feathered friends in my garden. The bucket is a generous size, providing plenty of food to keep the birds coming back for more. Plus, the 'no grow' feature is a godsend - no more unwanted plants sprouting up around my bird feeder. The birds seem to love the variety of seeds in the mix. I've noticed an increase in the number of different bird species visiting my garden since I started using this food. It's been a joy to watch them all! The bucket design is also a big plus. It's sturdy and easy to handle, making refilling the bird feeder a breeze. Plus, it keeps the bird food fresh and dry, which is essential. However, there are a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, the bucket could do with a better seal. It's not a major issue, but a tighter seal would give me peace of mind that the food is being kept as fresh as possible. Secondly, while the 'no grow' feature is great, I've noticed a few stray seeds still managing to sprout. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, I'm really happy with this bird food. It's attracted a variety of birds to my garden and the 'no grow' feature has saved me a lot of gardening hassle. A few minor improvements could be made, but they don't detract from the overall quality of the product. I'd definitely recommend it to other bird lovers.

Good quality bird seed but item damaged in transit
The quality of this seed seem good & the birds liked it, but the lid of the tub had not been securely fastened & a lot of the seed had spilled out into the cardboard box. This is the second time in the last 2 weeks that bird seed I have ordered has spilled out - I have just left another review where yesterdayโs delivery of seed, packaged in a plastic bag - which split open in transit - rather than a tub, I am going to have to decide whether itโs worth me buying any further bird food if I am losing amounts of it due to not being securely packaged.

Our garden birds are happy and so are we.
It is good that we do not have to contend with shoots from seeds that have been dropped from the feeder and beyond

Good quality seed mix
The seed mix is brilliant, the packaging not so have been buying this mix for a long time and it was perfect in the round tubs. It is now packaged in square tubs, they often arrive split. The driver didnโt leave my last delivery at the pick up point as it was damaged. I was refunded and ordered 2 more. I have been to collect them today. The lids were off the tubs, the shop keeper had put everything in a black bin bag and Amazon have refunded me. This must be costing the supplier a lot of money. I have given the product 4 stars because of the packaging . The bird mix is no waste and good value for money.

What the heck are they putting in this stuff - theyre all going crazy for it!
I sometimes get an occasional robin hopping into the clear perspex bird-food house stuck on the french doors of my home office, more often theres 2 or 3 big fat pigeons who several times a day try to squeeze themselves into it , looking like a parent wedging themselves onto the kiddie rides at the fair, before i shoo them off. But when i put the 1st of this stuff in there the other day all the local wildlife seemed to go barmy for it! I can only guess that maybe it smells like the birdy equivalent of a barbecue, that they can pick up on from streets away, or more likely their equivalent of that ultra-sweet but fatally addictive "high fructose corn syrup" that these days seems to be compulsory in every tin or packet of food. As well as several robins and pigeons, there were also a couple of black & white crows or magpies? (well I think thats what they might be but admittedly Im no expert) and a few other non-descript birds constantly swooping in, and even a squirrel managed to somehow do some acrobatics and leap up into it when I wasnt looking (its about 5 foot off the ground!) and gorge himself silly on the stuff, hogging the place for a good 20 - 30 minutes, seemingly unconcerned that many of the birds are bigger than him, and causing quite a queue of birds to build up and loiter around awaiting their turn. He stuffed himself so much that when he finally finished he leapt down onto a nearby rattan chair and rather comically managed to miss his mark and tumble off the edge & hit the ground! But he was still back the next day for (much!) more. Ah well at least i dont need to bother buying that 'nut store for squirrels' that I was recently considering when I saw him once in the distance! But seriously, what the heck is in this stuff thats causing such a frenzy with my local wildlife?? Its nice to be able to see the occasional bird close up at my window, but its a bit disconcerting when theres robins, pigeons, crows, pigeons & squirrels just about ready to have a punch up over it as some skip the queue.. ..And today I discovered one of the pigeons (who now seems to be camping on my roof in his relentless efforts to steal a bit of the action, he's so loud as he staggers around 1st thing in the morning you'd think I had a drunken ostrich up there!) had decided he'd hop into my lounge to try and locate the tub of food I'd just topped up the birdhouse from. He was inches away from it (and me) when I heard him and jumped up from my desk - causing him to panic so much he tried to take flight but the silly bugger kept hitting & rebounding off of the inside of the windows of my (open) french door's! In the pics - Mr Squirrel hoovering this food up like he'd not eaten in weeks (and no, I dont have a zoom lens, he really did let me get up close & about 6 inches away from him, he stopped eating & froze for several seconds, but soon correctly weighed-up that he had a window to keep him safe & carried on!) whilst down below 2 birds (crows/magpies?) pace around to stake their claim to the others all busy observing them from a distance that theyre next in line... & understandably getting increasingly concerned & fretful that there'll be nothing left LOL. So do i recommend this stuff? Well yes & no - yes, if your lonely &/or want to see more of our feathered and even bushy-tailed friends right up close, but no if your not so keen on the chaos and invasion of personal space it will likely cause you. Frankly, I doubt my next purchase of bird food will be this one again - I suspect by then I'll need a break from these shenanigans, but hey, never say never LOL :-)
