Yanni Voices Live in Concert

An amaizing concert! A must have for Yanni fans all over the world! Yanni is a rare and amazing talent!

I first bought this last December because Yanni's live concerts were better than his studio albums.I first discovered the Voices project when it aired on PBS in 2009 and I happen to enjoy the show. I wanted to go see it live but didn't have the right of money to do it. Then I heard a couple of tracks on Sirius XM, the best one being Kill Me With Your Love done by Chloe Lowery. Years later, I had to get this DVD and it didn't disappoint at all. It was a worldly journey of music from start to finish. It had its emotional moment with Chloe singing "Change" when near the end of the song a tear runs down her face. If that doesn't give you chills, nothing will which is why I'm now a fan of Chloe because she brings it whether TSO, Rocktopia or Yanni she can be a show stealer. Also, Ender brought the Latin flavor to each of his songs including his duet with Chloe. Nathan is similar to Josh Groban but he did very solid and Leslie Mills has a pretty voice.Overall, it was a great show and if you're a fan of Yanni than you need to check this out.

Did not enjoy the singers; would rather just have the music.

A very interesting and enjoyable concert recorded live in Acapulco, MX. talented singers are showcased along with Yano’s easy listening music. Extras are good as well! We REALLY enjoyed listening to tenor Nathan Pacheco!

I have all Hanni videos and most of his CD's, and when this DVD was launched I had no doubt to buy it too. At the beginning I was a little bit reluctant to accept this new style with people singing Yanni's music, but after playing this concert several times, I've got in love with this Voices show. And let me say that it is not just a lyrics addition to previous Hanni's hits, but it is a very complete and exiting show, including performances from these 4 "young talents" (as defined by Hanni). Each one of these 4 artists has their own style and energy, and all of them are great. Another 5 stars to the Latin extra part, specially Jose Jose performance, 100% emotions.I bought my copy 6 month ago and I'm still playing this DVD at least once a week, and every time I watch and listen to it, I find something new and great to enjoy.I do recommend this Hanni Voices at Acapulco, as one of the best recorded concerts you can find as of today

At no time have I ever been considered a Yanni fan. However, after viewing this concert on PBS, I simply had to purchase my own copy to share with others. Musically, this performance is brimming with talent, and the vocalists and musicians are, in fact, captivating! The overall performance is polished and, at times, even provocative. The setting of the concert is Acapulco, Mexico, with an enthusiastic crowd. Some of the songs' lyrics are in Spanish, but the singers are able to convincingly convey their message because they do such a great job of performing their selections.I cannot comment on the relationship of this concert to Yanni's past performances. However, I suspect that current Yanni fans will certainly not be disappointed with this concert.Over Christmas, I played this DVD concert for my wife and brother-in-law, both of whom are musicians, and neither of whom are Yanni fans, like myself. Their overall reaction was that they actually really enjoyed the concert. My wife has since replayed the concert several times, simply for the music alone. If you are a music aficionado, as I am, I believe you will really enjoy this concert!

Este concierto de Yanni me ha parecido genial al poner letra a sus famosos temas instrumentales. Me ha gustado que algunas de esas letras estén en español, junto con otras en inglés o italiano. También es de agradecer el homenaje que hace a 4 artistas hispanos cantando en español.

Wer die Stück von Yanni kennt, wird sich vielleicht wundern, daß er hier mit 4 Sängern zusammen gearbeitet hat. Es mag auf den ersten Blick nicht ganz so gefallen. Doch daß ändert sich sofort beim Einschalten der DVD! Eine rundum gelungene Performance wird auch hier wieder abgeliefert. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist die blonde Sängerin mit ihrer etwas laschen Stimme. Alles andere ist dafür mehr als entschädigend - allein schon das erste Stück mit den indianischen Kindern und Trommlern wäre den Kauf der DVD wert! Demnächst werden meine Frau und ich zum Yanni-Konzert nach Berlin fahren, übrigens das erste in Deutschland! Ich kann es vor lauter Vorfreude kaum erwarten hinzugehen! Übrigens sind auch die anderen Yanni-Konzerte eine volle Kaufempfehlung! Wie kommen "Klaus Radmacher" und "Vintage" nur dazu, hier bei "Yanni - Voices" ein anderes Produkt (schlecht) zu bewerten!?

Ho tutti i dischi di Yanni, lo seguo da tempo ed è un peccato che non si riesca ad averlo in Italia dove ormai arriva sempre e solo il mitico Bruce e pochi Altri. Questo concerto tenuto ad Acapulco in un vero Teatro, non il solito palazzetto polifunzionale tanto per capirci, stupisce non tanto per la musica ma dalla capacità di "talent scout" di giovani cantanti. Ottimo film e bellissimo concerto.
