Would give it a 5 but some cheap drug store make-up won't work on the model skin. It's good for stagemakeup practice. Although, I gave it a 4, I'd rate it a 5 because it cleans off easy. I used a lot of hairspray before placing makeup on product and the makeup came off easily with soap and water. I also used baby lotion to take off makeup worked just as well as baby oil. I recommend this product to anyone who want to practice their special effects makeup or make-up in general. The doll head is very sturdy with and without the clamp.

I'm not sure why this is no longer available. I' have never face painted but we are need of face painters for our church so I ordered this to practice on. It was affordable and it works great in my opinion. I had no problems attaching it to my table with the included clamp. The face makeup cleaned up perfectly. I did what others suggested and sprayed the head with hair spray first. Attached are photo's of some practice face painting and then what the head looked like after I cleaned it up. As you can see, not a bit of paint left on this. There is also a picture of how thick my table is. I hope they bring this back as we had about 9 ladies in our first class, several of which were interested in buying this same mannequin head.

I gave it 2 stars because I DO like that it was fairly easy to put together and I like the material for the head. It has a really nice feel. Now, I DO NOT like that it is SO HARD to clean the head. Honestly, had I read the reviews before getting so excited, I’d have surely saved some money (that’s on me 😩). Also, I didn’t see any instructions and judging by other reviews, I wasn’t alone in that. I’m sure if I had seen the suggestion to use the hairspray, I’d be fairly satisfied. But for all of that just send the proper solution to make this reusable and to avoid the bad feedback because this definitely had the potential to be something great for my daughter to practice on and it’s just a horribly stained waste of money, unfortunately. If there’s a magic solution that works, PLEASE feel free to share! Thanks!

This was purchased as a gift for a teen girl who loves makeup! Unfortunately it was not as fun as we thought. The material prevents you from being able to apply anything evenly, or blend anything. When you put eyeliner or any liquid makeup on including lip stick it never dries and ends up smearing everywhere. And when it comes time to clean it....phew is it a mess. We have only used it a few times and the face is stained. Unfortunately unless you want to practice clown makeup this is not for you.

Very hard to clean makeup off. I used for esthetician class. It was very sturdy & hip/ball joint easy to manipulate manikin. Vise grip easy to secure. But the “skin” was a pain to clean. I still was never able to get eyeliner completely off.
