i should have known better than to cheap out on my pod/tank pack
I want to preface everything im going to say about this product by saying, i should have known better than to cheap out on my pod/tank pack.First off lets talk about quality. The pack itself is OKAY, it holds two pods and a decent sized tank, and they stay put well enough, thats what made me think this might be a decent product to get back into paintball with.wow was i wrong. The biggest issue with this pack came after learning what is provided as a strap. Its a simple plastic clip belt, which would be fine, except on the back of the pod pack the only thing to hold the pack in place is 3 spaced out belt loops that are at least 6 times to big for the belt provided, leaving the belt prone to crunching up and digging into your waist.furthermore because of the tiny belt size, its very difficult to run, crawl, or really do anything besides post up behind cover without this pack bouncing uncontrollably on your back side. It secures to your body so poorly, and the belt crunches up so easily that within the first 4 games, one of the belt loops actually broke while trying to run with this pack on. its actually quite sad, because the product would be okay if it came with a traditional velcrow body strap that fit the overly large belt holes.in the end, dont cheap out on this, pay for something a little better, this would be a poor pack to give to even a beginner.to the manufacturer, please include a better belt, it would make 100% all the difference for this product.i would return this product if i hadnt broken it on the first outing.

its not stiff so the wieght of the tank makes it be less of a belt and more like a rope around my waist
im giving this 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons:the included belt twists up big time. its not stiff so the wieght of the tank makes it be less of a belt and more like a rope around my waist. kinda uncomfortable.also this thing flops around like crazy. the harness is not stiff at all and doesnt form to my back either. every step i take makes it bounce.now the good stuff:the whole thing is nylon. its not falling apart any time soon.the Velcro straps are STICKY. like mad sticky. which is good. everything gets secured nicely.also the pod packs holder things are elastic and even fit my extra long 300 pods. neat.the tank holder is simple but secure. it expandsto accomodate bigger tanks.its bare-bones, no extra features, no nonsense. if you have a remote line setup and dont wanna spend 90 dollars on a harness, buy this.

The reason I did not like this harness is simply because of the strap (belt) ...
The reason I did not like this harness is simply because of the strap (belt) and loop you use to keep it around your body. The harness has three huge loops connected to it. You run a strap through the three loops and buckle it. That is how the harness stays around your body. The problem with the three huge loops is.1. The harness would flip up and down in play and while you are trying to put it on.2. The loops you run the belt through tore very quickly. When I say very quickly I mean i have a 20 oz CO2 tank in the middle at full capacity and two 160 paintball capacity pods at full capacity when playing. My very first day using it I played for about 5 hours. When I finished one of the loops already started tearing from the harness. My second week using it one of the other loops started to rip. This left me with only one strap left. Once I was down to the last strap, the belt would flip a lot more easily which made playing very uncomfortable. 06/3/2018 was my second week, needless to say I threw it away and ordered a new one.The best thing about this harness was the price. If you need one for a week or so to hold you it will due.The problem with the harness is how they made it so it could wrap around you. The belt with the loops is a bad idea. I recommend when you buy a harness you buy one with the velcro straps that wrap around you.

and craftsmanship is great, but the waistband is non elastic
Arrived as described, and in a timely manner. Product is durable, and craftsmanship is great, but the waistband is non elastic, so it tends to work itself lower and lower as you run, especially with a tank in it. I used mine with a heavy aluminum 48/3000, so maybe a carbon fiber won't droop as much. I ended up switching to a 4+1 with a elastic Velcro waistband that stays in one place with no problems. This product would be fine if you don't run, squat or move that much.

Buckle belt ruins this product...
I used this pack with a steel tank and 2 full pods. 3 hours after opening it, the strap loops that hold the pack to the belt had been cut by the constant rubbing of the belt itself. The material and design quality of this product is well below Tipmann's standards. That being said, take a look at Tipmann's 4+1 sport version with Velcro elastic belt, much better product!
