Enjoyable Read
I thought it was about time I read some Virginia Woolf. I approached the book with a bit of trepidation, I thought it might be the sort of literary novel I might have to struggle through. It wasn’t a struggle at all. I was gripped from beginning to end and, in theory at least, it isn’t my type of book. I’m sure that the book has been thoroughly dissected elsewhere so I’ll just leave it at that.

Writing to the universal reader.
I have more to get from this and it doesn't feel dated even with heavy use of Mister and Miss this and that everywhere throughout. Very sympathetic to propose stream of consciousness so centrally to kind of make philosophy the genre.

I just bought it out of curiosity and enjoyed it. Not sure what the fuss is about
I just bought it out of curiosity and enjoyed it.Not sure what the fuss is about. The language is not difficult and the fact that nothing very much happens chimes with experience.I'm not sure if this is the 'entry level' Woolf (maybe Mrs Dalloway?) but it was Ok.

Woolf is great writer but trendy typeface make this shyser.
Five stars for the prose of Virginia Woolf. I don't like the typeface of this edition. It annoys me when they experiment with fonts that are difficult to read.
