Acceptable mulch although if hulls are dry, water runs off until hulls absorbs some moisture.

Nice altenative to bark or hazelnut shells
The nearly white color of the rice husks and the smaller particle quality make this a lovely mulch for small plant containers or around small plants in pot gardens. There is no odor either. You might find they drift around if not moistened or sheltered in windy places. Might not be suitable for areas where you want to walk barefoot as they are a little bit prickly.

Arrived on time and shipping was covered. We won't know the results until after the planting season, but the product looks good

Works great for mulch
Was everything I was expecting. it came double packed in plastic rice type bags. I bought this for garden mulch because straw tends to have seeds and sprout into weeds. This does not and I'm loving it.

It's rice hulls
It is what it says it is, packed into a tight bale. I'm using it to lighten garden soil in place of perlite or vermiculite.
