Super*b* Travel Case
The best feature about this case is easily the low price. As of this writing you can pick up this case for under $10, which is impressive since this case has a rigid shell and therefore better protects your PSP from the rigors of mobile gaming. Fortunately, in spite of the hard shell, the case remains sleek and slim. It will consume only slightly more space in your bag than the PSP itself. The case closes with a heavy duty zipper and features a carabiner hook, which is handy for securing the case to your bag, belt loop, etc. Apart from the hook, the outside of the case is matte black, smooth and simple, devoid of logos, patterns or textures. The average observer might not recognize this as a PSP case. Personally I would consider this a bonus since you probably don't want your PSP to grow legs and walk away on you.The interior of the case holds the PSP quite snugly. The device will actually sort of pop in and out of the case. This is generally a good thing except for an exposed rivet inside the case. If left alone this might wind up scratching a small corner of your PSP. It's a simple remedy, though, as I just popped in a small piece of Dr. Scholls pad.Apart from the PSP you won't fit much inside the case. The centre flap has padding on the PSP side to keep your screen protected. (Although I still recommend investing in a screen overlay ). The upper side of the flap includes two fitted web slots for UMDs.The upper lid of the case has only a small elastic web. There is a little give to it so you can easily fit a couple more UMDs and a USB charge cable but don't plan on bringing your wall charger or AV cables. Memory sticks should be able to squeak in as well but pay care when opening and closing the case so as not to let them fall out.On the whole I doubt you'll be able to find a better case or a better price. If you plan to take your PSP with you frequently, I highly recommend keeping it safe with this case. screen overlay

It does its job...
Please note that I have added three images of this product to the gallery. Scroll back to the upper left corner of this product's web page to see them.I'll address the issue of the metal rivet first. Yes, there is a metal rivet at the bottom of the PSP compartment. However, my case has a bit of material over it and the rivet does not come into contact with my PSP (see product image). I know that some reviewers have cases with bare metal rivets so I assume that this is a correction made by the company or there was a batch of cases where somebody forgot to put the covers in.The other complaint is about fitting a PSP inside of the case. It fits and I invite you to check out my product image to see for yourself. However, it is very snug (see image). I have all linds of gizmos from pocket camcorders to cameras to multiple game consoles and I have never seen a case where the product fits so tightly. I was able to hold the case upside down and gently shook it and the console did not fall out. (Don't try this!) I had to wonder if this was intended for a PSP 3000.While the console does fit, the shoulder buttons will be pushed into the console. I was able to squeeze a few UMDs into the other compartment and close it. This case can hold up to four UMDs along with the system. The case is a hard rubber but you can still squeeze it. I'd compare it to somewhere between a travel case for your razors and toothbrushes and those generic rubber camera cases you can find at WalMart. If you put your PSP into this case and then put the case into a messenger bag then your system will be well protected.I paid $6.29 for this case and I'd say that it does its job but I am not comfortable storing my PSP with the shoulder buttons squeezed in. I want to give this product four stars but I would advise my friends to get a case that is a little roomier. As it is, I'll give three stars. Get this if you're on a budget... it will work but it isn't my ideal choice.

Great Case with minor flaws
Overall this is a very good case despite the useless carabiner attachment that leaves a horribly placed rivet. The outer shell is hard and the overall craftsmanship is actually very good. The middle flap holds 4 UMD's and the netting can be used to hold additional UMD's or accessories such as headphones or a car charger. I saw some people mention there is a velcro strap missing however that is not true. There is supposed to be only one velcro strap because there is a small piece of velcro on the center "UMD Holder" flap. It would be nice if that small velcro piece was a little larger both for holding strength and to be noticed more easily but it does its job.My only issue with this case was the same one many others had but is easily fixed. There is a useless (in my opinion anyway) carabiner attachment on the outer shell that leaves a metal rivet in the section where the PSP is stored. I saw some people say the issue was fixed on their case with a small cloth covering the rivet. Unfortunately mine arrived without the rivet covered. Since the rivet is in a terrible spot and I deemed it to be useless anyway I just pulled the loop and rivet completely off of the case. It was quite easy to yank out. Yes there is now a very small hole on the outside of the case but it is almost unnoticeable. Who would want to dangle their PSP from a belt or key chain anyway? JUST YANK IT!

great cheap case
Mainly I wanted to note that the case I received *does* still have the uncovered metal rivet inside. But it's nothing a bit a duct tape can't handle, and with the tape over the rivet, I have not noticed any damage to my PSP. :)I have a PSP 1001 (yes, we're both ancient lol) and this case fits it perfectly. I haven't decided on my optimal config yet, but I like how many pockets I have to choose from. Right now, I have two UMDs in the netted bit of the top half of the case along with some old ear buds and two UMDs in the divider part but there's still extra room up top for... I dunno maybe another UMD or two? I've also played around with stashing my headphones on the outside of the case through the "belt loop" for extra room inside and that works fine, as well. The power cord to my model PSP is too big to fit in the top portion of the case, but I prefer to charge it up at home and travel with just the games anyways so that's fine. Even full, upon zipping it up nothing feels like it's being crushed or compromised and I like that the case has some structure since I like to keep it in my purse which can get a bit battered. One thing I have noticed- it's quite heavy all loaded up, but so far, it works for me!

Great case, but for the rivet....
The case itself is great...made of durable material; durable enough that I wouldn't fret if I dropped my PSP while in this case - not that I go around dropping it, but you get the gist.As stated in the other reviews, it has enough space to store your PSP, slots for 2 UMDs, & a separate space to keep cloth to clean the PSP, headphones, memory sticks, other UMDs, etc. My OCD self loves the organizational detail. Sadly though, it's not roomy enough to keep it's charger in...that would have to be carried separately whenever you are traveling. It has a sturdy zip, has a clip loop (that does NOT - in my opinion - look fruity, as one previous customer stated on their review) on the back making it easy to travel with, and I would love this case, EXCEPT for the rivet INSIDE the case.Yes, the rivet is smooth, but why would anyone place a rivet inside a case designed to PROTECT your device? At least line the rivet with a padded cloth or other material!!I currently put my PSP in an old GameStop case, and THEN put it in this case - it's a good thing this case is spacious enough to fit it!! Of course, this is only a temporary fix, and I am looking for a more permanent solution. There is no way in heck I am going to take a chance on having my PSP scratched up. The designers need to get together and fix this problem.Yes, the case more than serves it's purpose, and it would be great value for it's money, except for the annoying rivet, and lack of space for the charger. As Zachary Price stated in his review: - "I shouldn't have to modify any product I receive from any manufacturer for it to function as intended."
