Good for its bucks for an amateur or beginner.
I had a Harley Benton Strat (though regarding its shape, but again with two Humbuckers) at my GR house and wanted a Les Paul type, just as second for my DXB house.Cannot see any difference, in spite of the relative philology in the internet and the fighting of Fender and Gibson fans. But I do not declare expert, rather re-warmer of young age passion, from the eras when, due to scarce money, we were attaching an after market "magnet" to an acoustic guitar, passing the sound via a tape recorder, just to be listened as "electric".The Mike Music 40" under discussion seemed at first touch of a decent quality to me, given its value of course and my scope.I feel that I need to tune it more frequently than my older acoustic (the mentioned GR-house Strat is out of competition, as it has Floyd Rose Tremolo, therefore Nut Lockers AND Fine Tuning buttons). No complains from its two Humbuckers also, although as said, I do not declare Eric Clapton's nor BB King's successor...Overall happy with the purchase so far.Update 09/07/2021:Having set it up at "low" action for my taste, the Mi (E) bass sting was a little buzzing. And this was happening on the treble/bridge Humbucker. So I tried to adjust it.Then regretfully discovered that the adjustment screw on the pickup wasn't functioning and trying to rotate it 1/4 of a turn to lower the pickup, it released from the adjusting screw and landed on its bottom. Still works but is a matter of good looking the issue. My return window closed on 03/06 although I was still abroad when it arrived and didn't have the chance to get it in my hands before the return expiration, something that my Office acknowledged to Amazon and got an extension. So I'll give a try for replacement.Update 11/07/2021:2 out of the 6 screws at the bridge, for adjustment of the intonation aren't working.Amazon contacted for both above issues and activation of extended Return Window due to my absence upon first delivery, as was requested by my staff (and committed by Amazon's Customer Support) late May-early June.Asking for REPLACEMENT only, not return/refund. Beyond aforementioned issues, the instrument is good.
