Q: Can I use this with a 10 vol dev. of any brand?

You absolutely have to use a developer! WTH?! Zero lift with toners. 10-40 with permanent color.

Q: How much zero lift do you use with this?

What I have heard on a Pravana presentation the mixture is a 1:3 toner to developer ratio

Q: I hate this product. It made my hair sooooooo much darker. For those customers who used this product, how long until the toner washed out?

This is not permanent, it is clearly stated in the description, it is a toner. Toner should be watched during application because everyones hair has different porosity. It will fade, as any toner, with washing, heat etc. This toner is bomb, you just have to get your timing down.

Q: Do you have to mix this with anything? Or just apply it alone?

Apply alone - no developer needed. Mix with other Vivids to create other colors, add conditioner to lighten the color (or Chromasilk Clear), and bleach hair first for true to tone color results.
