Nasal Gel
I live in Ohio and once winter arrives with its cold, dry air I have the worst problems breathing. This was suggested to me by my ENT Doc to keep the nasal passages moistened. This spray is so much better than the gel from a tube as that just runs out of your nose. I feel with the spray gel it gets up there further and helps with the nasal passages. I feel it does aid in helping me breathe and I usually use it in the evenings. Maybe 1 out of every 10 times I do experience what others have experienced and that is almost like a allergy attack. It makes me sneeze and my eyes water. I'm not sure what causes this but the good outweigh that once in a while bad. I will continue using this through the December/April months.

Disappointed in this product
I've been using Ayr gel in a tube and have been extremely happy with this product. I thought the spray would be as effective and soothing, but it isn't for me. I have COPD and use a nasal cannula 24/7 and my nasal passages get very sore. I would not recommend this product for anyone with a serious need for a soothing gel.

Best moisturizing nasal spray I've found
Unlike ordinary nasal moisturizing sprays, Ayr contains a saline gel that coats your nasal passages instead of running back out or down the back of your throat. I've been using Ayr for years and it is by far the most effective nasal moisturizer I've found.

Aggravated my chronic sinusitis
This product gave me a horrible flare of my chronic sinusitis. It is probably due to additives, aloe and geranium. Aloe should probably be ok but geranium is a very fragrant plant and it is probably contraindicated for people with allergies, which 90 percent of nasal spray users have. Think before you order it. If pollen bothers you this will bother you too.

Long Lasting!
I have been using the Saline nasal spray (mist) for a few years now for allergies and the winter when my nose gets very dry. The mist has worked, as advertised, however, like other reviewers, you would need to keep applying it throughout the day. I have only been using this for a few weeks now, but I only have to apply 1 spray in each nostril, once a day and it lasts the whole day. I do continue to use the mist to help clean/clear my nose prior to applying prescription corticosteroids (such as nasonex, veramyst, etc). However, I use this for all other needs.Simply put, this spray provides the same comfort and hydration the mist does, but lasts much longer.
