The Fossil Vertebrates of Florida

I thought maybe this book might be too advanced & technical for my 8 yr old but she’s found information in there she’s enjoying. We just read Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin so this is a good tie in.

I have recently gotten the fossil bug. This book is awesome ! It wonderful drawn illistrations of bones and goes into great detail. A great book to help me identify bones and shark teeth that I find. A great purchase.

Excellent product.

Dr. Hulbert did an excellent job with this book. If you're looking for a thorough, factual guide to fossil vertebrate taxa in Florida, you won't find a better one. I agree with another reviewer that the index could be better, but the book is arranged taxonomically and it's not hard to find what you're looking for.

Still one of the best reference guides on the material of Florida Vertebrate Fossils !

Lots and lots of photos and information, I wish more States would do books like this.

Well-written, but for the price I had expected color photos.
