Tweed Gray Flexby Divan Bed Base - Headboard And Storage Drawer (Single, Small Double, Double, King and Super King Size (Double, Divan Base Only)

I thought I was buying a single divan with storage drawers, but when I received the item it has no storage drawers. The advert does state “single divan only” which I take as meaning without headboard, but it does not state without storage drawers. Under the Consumer Contract Regulation the seller must fully describe the product because the buyer doesn’t have the option to ask face to face questions, which is why the regulation gives online buyers extra protection. I believe this company to be a good quality business and I hope they will amend their advert accordingly.

Positive - Affordable price - glide feet - range of colours and draws etc to choose from - seems fair quality material - quick deliveryNegative - The internal wooden frame work is extremely creaky when laying/moving on, the draw runners were not even on both sides, so all you can see is a sloping draw. There is no hard back behind the material around the base, so could rip through easily. You also have to rip through the backing to put the connectors on.We have had to buy extra wood and brace it internally to try and stop the creakingAs they say you get what you pay for !

The quality is very bad: 1. the material (wood) used is slim and thin, 2. the metal part is low quality, 3. the connection/assemble between each wood part (drawer) is terrible and extremely unstable. 4. The drawer is always stuck by the divan framework.I cannot understand why it's quality is so bad, with such a high price (at least not cheap).

Bought this bed base in February. It’s terrible; squeaky and the mattress base has bent in places! Not even heavy people, or kids jumping on it. Absolutely terrible waste, and now having to get another bed 6 months on!! Do not buy unless you want to waste your money!

I've bought this divan bed few days ago and actually I'm happy with this. But one of the screw on the side was stuck into the frame. I bought the one with the headboard without draws and the headboard doesn't fix well on the frame then is very unstable and then you cannot actually put your head there.The price was ok so overall I m happy.

This bed base is a good product for the amount sold, it is a very solid and firmed bed base. My family love the design.I could have rate it 5 star unfortunately the delivery men Amazon used in delivery this item where awful.They are been unreasonable by climbing the stair case with mouldy boot in a new carpet rug despite been told not to climb the rug with their boot on. They are not good guys and I will recommend amazon not use such people for their business any more.

The reason why I haven't sent it back because I havent got a bed. as soon as we took it out of the package and set it up very flimsy wont hold very heavy weight just becarful .and refusing to take it back and get a refund its not wood like states it plastic with staples

The main base is fine but One of the drawers doesn’t close shut properly.The drawers are not worth the extra money as they are so weak, won’t be able to hold any thing more than a balloon.The delivery is very good, came on the day I selected at the payment. They let you know the night before with a time slot and regular updates on the day to give you plenty of notice
