Yes, Rubbermaid is suitable for cleaning small areas or crevices. I think BORNKU is more general. Because it has a variety of replaceable brush heads and is more powerful.

If you select or search on Amazon search engine for "Rubbermaid 1839685 Power Scrubber" it's the same item only with one head. But on that page you will find attachments including buffing heads to do just what you are asking for. So hope this helps. And yes the buffing heads on that page would fit this item with a different model #. Best I can figure out the difference is this comes packaged with the 2 styles of heads not just one.

Why do so many reviewers say this came in a plain white box with photo copy instructions? Makes me a tad nervous to order as it seems suspicious.

Mine came in a plain white box also with a black and white sheet of basic instructions. Though the packaging was not what I expected, the product is perfectly fine and has done a great job cleaning in the few weeks I have had it. I will say definitely go for the better batteries to power it because the Amazon brand I bought did not work very well.
