Love this brush. My two cats normally aren't big fans of brushing or combing but they love this brush. One of them purred more than I've ever seen her purr while being brushed. I think they like the sensation of the soft pointed needles on their skin. It reminds me of the soft brush for humans. The needles are pretty far apart. I was worried they would simply go through the hair without grabbing any loose hair. But much to my surprise it somehow collected a lot of the loose hairs from the cats. And it is super easy to clean. I also like the handle. I have medium sized (glove size 7) woman's hands and the handle feels just the right size in my hands. I like the fact that the brush is like a human hair brush, the head is inline with the handle so that I can easily brush the cats while they are in my lap or sitting next to me without it being in a weird angle. It's a little silly to be so excited about a cat brush but we just love this one after having tried purchased several types that we never got much use out of.
