Works on any mug really
Ideally you want a flat mug to get more surface on the heating element but if you use this on high, it still works to keep your coffee warm for as long as you want.Just be careful not to leave a near empty cup on it too long because you could burn the coffee. I didn’t even know you could burn coffee. But yeah. Be careful.Highly recommended!

Works as it should
As long as you have a flat bottom cup this works great, if anything its too hot. A setting between medium and low would be perfect for me but I can deal with medium. The only thing I noticed is that the surface of the plate has a bit of a high center. My mug wobbles a bit and I was concerned that the poor contact would impact the heating, but it still works great.
