France Luxe1/2" Ultracomfort Headband - Africa

Really lovely headband. I really like that the "Africa" color has various shades of brown and caramel running through it with touches of gold. It fits well and does have two, small plastic combs/teeth on the inside to hold the band it place. I have found the headband to be really comfortable, and France Luxe headbands do tend to loosen up a little bit as you wear them. (The heat of your head makes them expand). I am very happy with the purchase, and the headband looks great in my dark hair.

I love this black/silver pattern in my salt and pepper hair. But I am very disappointed it is so small and makes my head very sore when I try and wear it for an hour or so. Maybe I can use it when I do my skincare at night or something. Just don't try this one unless you have a very small head.

France luxe makes the best cellulose acetate hairbands. Sadly this one arrived broken. I can only assume it was stepped on in shipping. I have several other styles and never had one break.Amazon refunded quickly.

I have thick hair and work 8-12 hour shifts, so I can’t wear headbands that make my head sore after a few hours. I can’t believe I stumbled upon these headbands because they are game-changers. I wish I wasn’t saying that for a headband that seems so overpriced but not only was this headband worth every penny; I’m going to buy more from this brand. It really is as flexible and comfortable as they advertise. I don’t even mind that there aren’t more teeth because it’s just such a good headband. You’ve got yourselves a new customer!

This headband has a two sets of little combs at the temples (most France Luxe headbands I've purchased do). The micro combs help keep the headband secure in your hair comfortably. The Tokyo color is gorgeous!I took off one star because my headband arrived in a circular shape versus a more oval shape. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble trying to shape the headband into a more oval shape for my head.

If you have thick hair, this might work for you, but as someone with thin, fine hair, I found this exceedingly painful, with spikes trying to drill their way into my head. I couldn't wear this for more than a few seconds. Immediate return. :-(

This is a beautiful headband to look at but I don't feel it's worth the price. It is very lightweight and when it arrived, it was not bent evenly so one end of the headband is about 1/2" longer than the other end. When I pay $20 for a headband, I expect a bit higher quality and a bit more weight.

Love the color. The little combs are quite pointy, but easy to get used to. Can’t comment on how loose it gets, so far it’s really comfortable. A bit pricey but if it lasts it’s worth it. Would order another.
