I come to bury these magnets not to praise them. Why? It is not because these magnets are not strong. They are strong. Amazingly, surprisingly strong. And that is exactly the problem. I cannot get the discs apart. They are also a danger to my fingers. And I lost a ceramic knife trying to pry them apart. I also managed to destroy one of the magnets - they are brittle. And still all together.Why must the vendor ship them all pasted together? Why not in safe, separated little bubble packets? Why not a cheap separator tool? Something?The magnets are useless if you can't get them apart to do something. Yes I googled and Amazoned and YouTubed for the wisdom of crowds. Pretty much nada useful info.Eventually yes Man is a tool using animal and I found a combination of plastic scrapers and furniture support wedges that separated the magnets. But why put the customer through this?

Well, yeah they are super strong but I can't get them apart. The little plastic in comes in between each magnet doesn't help at all. I bought bigger magnets in the past and were separated by a thick cardboard piece and had no issues. I wonder why they don't address this issue if several other people on the reviews have complained about not being able to separate them. I was only able to separate 2 but I got bruises on my fingers. The others seem to be stuck together for eternity.

These magnets are awesome. I use them to hold a blanket on my car when it is parked and so far the wind has not blown it off. I read another post that said they were very difficult to separate if you let them stick together and they are, but the strong magnetic force is why I bought them, so ...They are fairly pricey at $21 and change for 10, but I looked at quite a few others and these seem to be in line.Update: They worked so well that I bought a second set. These aren't refrierator magnets! They are stong.

I bought these magnets to use on a magnetic painted message wall. I could not pull them apart and had to call my 17 year old grandson to help me. They are going to work great on the wall holding important messages and papers. I put them on my frig well apart so they do t get stuck together. I will probably order more if I can move them. Ha!!!

Excellent quality and very strong magnets. Completely clad in nickel, which protects what I understand to be very brittle magnet material. Well packaged for shipping. I bought these to hold cleats to the inside of a mandolin crack repair while the glue dries. One magnet on the outside and one on the inside with a glued cleat between them. Works great!

REALLY powerful magnets - clean, strong and well made. About the size of an American quarter. I have a hundred uses for magnets of this strength and plan to buy more. Handle with care while they're in the original shipping stack. You might think you have pulled them far enough apart but they're spooky strong in stacks like this and can leap right out of your hand to rejoin the others.

These magnets are VERY powerful. They come in very handy. I have even used them on the side of my husband's tool box to hold hammers and other tools!

These are really powerful, and hard to separate, so be careful! Sliding the magnets past each other seems to work best. Just so you can calibrater your expectations, one magnet is strong enough to hold a ~4x4 piece of plywood on the side of my metal tool chest.
