Easy Installation, totally changes the way I now use my tailgate this is a great product at a low price!

Easy to install and works perfectly. The tailgate now opens smoothly and steadily. Very nice addition to the tailgate. You have to remove the tailgate anchor point because it won’t allow it to close, so you lose that feature. But you seldomly use those anyways.

Easy to instal, basically common sense and takes less than 5 min. You need 10mm socket or wrench and a 5mm Allen. It lowers the tailgate quickly and gently, and raising takes no more effort than before. Came with thread lock too. There is some noise at the bottom end of the stroke on but nothing crazy at all. Will update if I have any issues

Helps hold your tailgate from dropping down to fast. Was easy to install and worked as expected. So happy with the purchase.

Unit works well enough. Took a whole 15 minutes to install. I have a 2022 F150 lightning. There are two what looks like alignment brackets on each side of the tailgate. I had to remove the driver side bracket otherwise the tailgate would not be able to close due to the piston being in the way.

This item was very useful and easy to install. Rookies can do it. The tool sent with the hydraulic shock was not useable because it doesn’t fit the bolt correctly. But the shock itself is great.
