Very constant 1mm Twine
I needed some twine that need to be threaded thru some predrill holes. This twine was exactly what I needed. It is a very constant 1mm twine. Yes, there may be a very few spots where it is slightly larger (2 or 3 in the one hundred 12" pieces I required), but i have been able to feed it through or just cut away the thicker portions.Yes it does say that it was 'Made in China', but it was 'Designed in Detroit', so I expect it to last at least 100,000 miles !!!

Use it for so many things
I’ve used this product to make baskets, to garden with, to tie things. It’s not as thick as rope, but a lot easier to work with. I try to always have this on hand

Aisto jute twine is uniformly 1 mm diameter.
It is a uniform 1 mm jute twine & there is no petroleum smell. I have used less than 1//2 of the spool but have been pleased so far with the strength of the twine. I would not hesitate to buy other sizes of this company's jute twine. I had earlier purchased the 2 mm jute twine and it has performed well over time.

Great for my needs but...
Descent twine for my needs but it sheds more hairs than a German shepherd dog. Wear a masks while using this for crafts or you'll be inhaling the tiny hairs. I probably won't buy it again.

Perfect for stringing shells on a wall hanging.
This was perfect for my application. Thin but very strong.

Strong chemical smell
I love the look of this jute twine. I use jute for my home decor business. It lays well and looks amazing. The downfall is the smell! It’s an awful, strong chemical smell. I used it to make an item thinking maybe it was so bad just because it was wrapped in plastic and the smell would quickly dissipate. It took a few weeks of airing out to be suitable to use.
