Good quality belt with sturdy buckle. Thick enough to not break or bend and flack

I bought this belt because I had a similar belt that was given to me as a gift and that belt broke.. The buckle came completely off because the thin metal wire that connects the belt to the buckle and allows it to swivel broke off. This was because my first belt was a little too small. my waste measures about 30 inches and in most cases a 30-32 is too large. The belt I had before was size 28-30 and I had to buckle it on the first or second notch and that was obviously too much stress or maybe it was just the build of the belt? I probably should have ordered a 28-30 size in this belt because the 30-31 only leaves one extra notch, I noticed that there were many similar reversible belts on the market. I like this on because it is less expensive, wider and of better quality. Also, they offer a wide array of colors to choose. The belt looks nice and I wear it with dress clothes , although it would be fine with casual clothes or jeans because it is wider than most dress belts . I wish I had received this belt as a gift instead of the first one I had .I do not know what brand it was.

Love these belts. Has a real professional looking buckle. It's my daily belt for work. The only issue I have is that using it 5 days a week on the same hole the belt starts to tear along that hole. I'm on my 4th belt or so, but it takes like 2 years or so to get that way.

Great belt and looks good both sides after a simple reversible pull and twist

So this is a $ 15 belt: don't expect it to be perfect or indestructible. I have had several of these over the years. As some others have noted, the reversible buckle depends upon a small metal pin / pivot and, unfortunately, that bit of metal is not the strongest or most durable. Eventually, with repeated use, the metal pin gets fatigued and fails. Crank on it too hard, the pin will break. I had a previous version of one of these belts and made the mistake of leaving it on the floor: I stepped on the buckle accidentally and the pin broke. Its a real shame that the manufacturer doesn't spend, say, another $ 1 - $ 2 per belt to make that critical pin out of better grade metal - the overall cost of the belt would still be a bargain and its main flaw would be cured. However, I bought another because all similar belts were $ 25 - $ 30 or more with no guarantee of being better quality. In fact, the one that broke most recently was a "big name brand" that I bought in a store - it was absolutely identical to this one (I suspect it was made in same overseas factory) yet it cost $ 37 in the so-called discount clothing store. So I can buy 2-1/2 of these cheap-o belts for every one I could buy in a store or for every "name brand" belt, but, from my experience, I doubt the quality / durability would be any better. So, if you get one of these cheap ones, don't expect it to last forever. But if you take care not to stress the reversible function too much, it will last longer than otherwise. A note on sizing: the listing said "buy one size bigger than your waist size." I did that the first time and the belt that arrived was way too big. I returned it for refund and got a smaller one. My waist measures 37 inches with a tape measure; 38 inches while wearing pants (accounting for the fabric thickness). I eventually got the 36-38 size and it fits me on the 2nd tightest of the 5 belt holes so this belt will still be workable for a while if I transform into a fat slug.

have held together very well. my husbands wears a belt everyday and loves this brand.
