BENBA Hanging Mealworm Bird Feeder

This may look flimsy but after 3 yrs in the all kinds of wind and rain and bird use, it's still working perfectly. the polycarbonate cover keeps the mealworms dry, too. Some people are using this for heavy seed, which if it does get wet will clog the screen bottom and make the whole feeder hang off-kilter. Don't use it for that! Just mealworms and enjoy the show!

I didn't know whether to give it 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough. It is kinda of flimsy so I don't know whether the plastic cover will last through many hot, hot summers. The blue birds and nut hatch seem to like it. The plastic top or cover adjusts closer to the area you put the meal-worms if you don't want large birds getting to them. I hope it lasts through the winter without the plastic cracking. We shall see.

Quite inexpensive and very functional. I've had cardinals, finches, chickadees, blue jays, Titmouse. I like it since it drains when there is a rainstorm.....I don't use the plastic dome. Squirrels sometimes get on it but they're a easy target with my BB gun..........that's an added plus.

Very nice bird feeder for the price. Bigger than I thought it would be. I bought this style because all of my other feeders keep getting clogged up due to the seed getting wet when it rains. I am hoping to have better luck with this style of feeder.

We are missing a part, without the center shaft this feeder is almost useless. Also no instructions in package. Even if we had the central shaft, it is difficult to see who we could attach everything together.

flimsy. sharp edges of metal on mesh basket. was meant as gift for a child to learn to appreciate bird watching. but too dangerous for a child to handle

Very very poor quality. The primary metal part that the hook fit into was badly deformed and will probably rust out quickly.

Item arrived defective. Bottom plug was not attached to wire basket, so basket tipped. Wrote seller, but no response. Returned it.
